Literary Analysis Of Solration, By Sti Ashok Gupta
SUBLIMATION by Stuti Ashok Gupta
I will kill
Without any weapons, but with my poetry.
I will kill
Without any guns, but with my words.
Like every poet
I want to give people
Multiple deaths
Without any blood
Without any pain.
I want to give people
Multiple heart aches
Without any breakups
Without any betrayal.
I want to give people
Multiple dreams
Without any sleep and Without any fear
That it won't come true.

I'd leave all the rivers, mountains and scenery,
For the feeling of fitting so perfectly into his gaps.
For once

But for now darling, your ignorance is my bliss
I'll lay by you now and forever in this memory.

All the branches don't face the same side of the sky,
But what do I do when I have to choose one side?
You make the branches merge into one, touching my feet.
I get everything I want at once, and for all.

Even now I sit alone, I feel the brush of your fingers against my arm.
It's a phantom, a memory but your memories somehow smell sweeter than you.
And ghosts never die.

I can see invisible, layer of rich colors on my skin even now.
And invisible never fades.

Only if it was poetry, it had lines
My love is a circle, where I have taken rounds all these years.
And circles never end.

You know, those orange-ish white voids,
In between blue floating clouds
Make me wish,
Wish you were watching me
From above.
Do you imagine me
Putting kajal,
Cause I imagine you
Fixing your hair for someone else,
Religiously, every day I wish,
You were next to me,
Laughing at my poetry.
Relentlessly.

As I watch those gaps

Often times people believe that there are no consequences in loving a person dearly, because being with the person you love will make life a happily ever after. In the book, “Like Water for Chocolate,” Laura Esquivel takes on this misconception and states otherwise. She beautifully writes about the love story between a secretive couple, Pedro and Tita. Though their love for each other is real and grounded in truth, they face many challenges and hardships that separate them being together. Then once they are allowed to have each other, they discover the consequences their love had cheat them into. Through the romantic symbols of Tita and Pedro’s relationship, the author makes the comment that true love cannot be achieved without facing the eternal…
