Lina Mayfleet And Doon Character Analysis
Down under the Earth, the city of Ember is a bleak,dark, and dystopian civilization that houses refugees of the world. Even though the world they live in is dark, the citizens of Ember are bright, lively people with colorful personalities. The two main characters, Doon Harrow and Lina MayFleet, are polar opposites in terms of personalities but are united in friendship. Doon is a serious person who does not take lightly to insult. He is also curious and he strives to be the savior of Ember. On the other hand, Lina is a whimsical person with a lively outlook on life and a passion for running. Lina loves her little sister Poppy and notices, like Doon, that their world is falling apart.After making amends from an incident years before, Doon and Lina work together to decipher the instructions and save their crumbling home.
