What are the disadvantages of using effects/graphic styles? Explain.
I am new at illustrator but I have some disadvantages about the pen tool. It’s kind of hard to draw with you has to keep practicing and practicing to get real good at it. If you don’t your line will be messy and your lines would not look right at all
What is your favorite effect? Why?
After playing around with some things I have taken a liking in Drop Shadow, Feather, Inner Glow, and Outer Glow. Each of these effect add detail to your design and adds a pop that makes it stand out that makes your drawing look like it was really drew.
What is your favorite graphic style?
I kind of like how you can create your own style in your own way and also you can you use Graphic style libraries to sort or pick different styles. You select, sort, and view items in a graphic style library the same as you do in the Graphic Styles panel. But the disadvantages of it are that you can’t add items to, delete items from, or edit the items in graphic style libraries.
Post a digital illustration that you have created using your favorite effect. Explain how the effect enhances the digital illustration.
In this picture I use a Drop Shadow, Feather, Inner Glow, for the effect in the words and only the inner glow in the blue effect I did from the effect Gallery I used I didn’t do much to this picture I am still learning as I go.
Post a new topic to the Discussion Board that contains your responses and your digital illustration. http://vectips.com/tutorials/the-fundamentals-of-shape-design-in-adobe-illustrator-lesson-2/ here is a good topic that I am looking that is helping me ti get better in drawing and making shapes in illustrations.

Also, if you look very closely at the painting, you can see some brush strokes that the painter made. I like that because the viewer can see how thick the paint is and how you move onto the canvas. Lastly, I like how there is light around the top of the painting. I love how the artist used different colors and shades. This art piece goes very well in my family's dining room, in my opinion.…

Howard works in very thick layers. She separates colours and leaves crisp definition between each stroke. Here it seems as though she has used a tool such as a knife or card, and has dragged the paint across the page. She has also picked out undertones such as purples, greens and oranges and has intensified these colours and made them really stand out. She manages to do this without overpowering the reflections and water like look.…

Throughout the course of my junior year, I have been challenged to be the best artist of my ability. As a graphic designer, I have learned to view things in a different light and learned to express my creativity. Although I am still learning new things everyday about how to become a better artist, I have improved tremendously in every way ranging from the thought process all the way to finalizing each project, and I think that as the days go by I will continue to do well in my high school graphic design career, but in continuing my education in this major and working in a field closely related to it. I have produced at least 5 projects that reflect my passion for graphic design including the New York World’s Fair, currency recreation, and the handmade film poster from the first semester of my junior year and from the second half up until my most recent project, a book jacket, and an organic drink package design.…

I think that these events foreshadowed Okonkwo’s and the Ibo tribe’s demise because every single one of the events affected Okonkwo negatively and led to some of change in his life. It starts with Okonkwo’s father being a bum in the tribe and neglecting his responsibility to his family. His death was also degrading because his body was thrown in the forbidden forest and Okonkwo always worked towards not becoming someone like him. However, at the end Okonkwo’s “burial” is the same and he becomes the failure he tried to avoid. He considered himself a failure because he was unable to rid the tribe of the colonists because he could see that the culture was diminishing but he failed to bring the tribe to fight after his exile. He was exiled because he killed a boy at the wedding which he was invited to after he killed Ikemefuna so that he could clear his mind with a distraction. Overall, every event led to something which foreshadowed Okonkwo’s demise as well as the tribe’s.…

My ideas comes from everywhere unexpectedly, especially when I’m browsing at professional websites art blogs or famous social network (such as Tumblr and Instagram). Every day, there are all kinds of artists who would like others to know about their creative works. Therefore they share it online, and in fact, they obviously gets my attentions. Another point in its favor is the one things I love about art is that I can receive other people’s personal viewpoints and then change it bit by bit to create my own piece of art-styles. In particular, I choose for myself the theme of emotional expression, as I wish to present how strong feelings can impact viewers throughout the design process.…
