Write a letter within 120 words to the editor of a newspaper complaining about the high prices of everyday necessities.
[Points: prices of almost all articles of daily use rising high – poor and middle class people suffer much – the Govt. to take steps to check rise in prices]

Dear Sir,
I would like to draw the attention of the concerned authority to the problem detailed below through the widely read ‘Letters the editor’-column of your publication.
The problem I am concentrating is the uncontrolled rise of prices of almost all articles of daily use. The financially weak and the middle class people are the worst sufferers. The prices of such edibles as rice, dal, vegetable oil, sugar and etc. have increased to such a height that they seemed to have gone beyond the purchasing capacity of average consumers, particularly, those who belong to the low and middle income group. Obviously, these people are feeling frustrated and this frustration may snowball into many other crises in social life.
Hope, the Government would take note of the matter and would take some drastic steps to check this untoward rise of prices of essential commodities.

Sir,
Unplanned urbanisation and indiscriminate felling of trees have destroyed the green cover of the earth and have made it what it is today −− a jungle of concrete. This has posed a great threat to the environment and to our very existence. Trees play a vital role in maintaining the ecological balance and the way deforestation is going on at present, will have fatal

Deforestation is the cutting down of a large area of trees and the destruction of forests by people. Forests are what we call an exhaustible resource, one which can be used up if it is not used carefully. Over the last few decades, deforestation has threatened the rainforests with total extinction. To understand why deforestation is such an important issue, you first have to understand why trees matter. Trees improve in many ways the life of all species, including the human race. They help to maintain the Earth’s benevolent atmosphere, provide shelter for much biodiversity, but also have a high commercial value. As a consequence there is much critical debate around the causes and solutions for deforestation.…

It is said, that forests cover 31% of the land area on our planet (WWF). Reducing the number of trees and the surface area of a forest is called deforestation. Deforestation is one of the biggest problems in today’s economic system. There may be a lot of positives behind the idea of cutting down trees; however they are all outnumbered by the negatives. If one is not careful with the removal of a forest, it may lead to more deserted areas.…

At the beginning, I did not chose this topic, instead, I choose Global Warming as the topic. With the research of global warming, I found that an important reason that cause global warming is deforestation. Then, I found deforestation is way worse than I thought before, I thought trees can be cut down, but it can also grow, so things will be balanced. But during the simple research, things did not happen like what I used to think of, which is way worse.…

To understand why deforestation is such a pressing and urgent issue, forests must first be given credit for what they bring to global ecosystems and the quality of life that all species maintain. The forests have global implications not just on life but on the quality of it. Trees improve the quality of the air that species breath by trapping carbon and other particles produced by pollution. Because of the deforestation of the rainforest, nearly half of the world 's species of plants, animals and microorganisms will be destroyed or severely threatened over the next quarter century…

First of all, the rising prices of gas, a critical input in almost all production processes, will trigger the price hikes of most consumer and industry products: the inflation. For example, after the gas price increases, the costs of transportations also increase. Raw materials need to be transported into factories before they become final products; all final products need to be transported to retail stores where consumers can buy them. Therefore, the increasing costs of transportation will directly be added in the prices of consumer products. Moreover, the high gas prices generally are led by the high crude oil prices, and the crude oil is the raw material of most important chemical products such as nylon and synthetic polymers, which are inputs of most industry products. Consequently, the hike of the crude oil price also leads the rises of the industry product prices. The pervasive inflation is inevitable.…

According to the Financial Mail (2006) In February this year, inflation rate in Zimbabwe reached the highest level in the world – an annual 782%. It is estimated that by the end of this month, Zimbabwe 's year-to-year inflation rate will have topped 1 000% this is according to calculations by the regionally represented Imara financial-services group (Mail and Guardian, 2006). As inflation increases to ridiculous rates, the Zimbabwean government is forced to offer some sort of relief for its people. Prices of basic commodities such as food and fuel are rising sharply on an almost day to day occasion while wages have remained fairly the same (Financial mail, 2006). Due to public or rather social concerns, the government has been forced to set price controls for basic commodities such as food, fuel and transport costs.…

Trees provide an important ecosystem function by storing carbon, a cause of climate change, in their biomass. Currently the world’s forests store 283 billion tons of carbon in their biomass. Half the world’s tropical forests have been cleared or degraded. Every hour, at least 4,500 acres of forest fall to chain saws, machetes, flames, or bulldozers. In 2012 three million hectares of mature forests were cut down. This is a causing effect to…

When gas prices soar, most consumers have to reduce their spending on other things. If they could buy a $3.50 box of cereal for $1.39 or a $2.99 package of tomatoes for $0.99, and get the same or better quality, the supermarket might be the easiest place to start for frugal consumers. Some consumers don't have the skill to evaluate products of different prices, simply choosing higher-priced items on the assumption that higher price means higher quality. Other households have enough discretionary income that price increases for gasoline don't affect the purchase of other items. This is the environment for a food fight—the battle for consumers' food dollars.…
