Letter of Complaint
European Agency For Refugees

Lt. Jones.
Fast Food Company.

Dear Sir,
I am writing to convey to you that the service your company has been providing has worsened substantially during the last three months.
Firstly, the quality of the food has decreased considerably during this period. This fact has been noticeable since you change your main supplier. Over these three months, fruits and vegetables have almost been eliminated from the menu, including an important amount of frozen food instead. Not only have these facts undermined the quality of the food, but it will also affect the health of our personnel in the long run.
Secondly, there have been several complaints regarding the cleanliness of the dining facility. These complaints were previously reported several times, but your company has always argued that it lacks personnel since some of them left the company. This seems to be a major problem, since it has been reported a plague of cockroach.
It can be argued that, had your company invested in personnel, these shortcomings would have been solved. It would have been desirable that you had hired personnel replacing those who left the company; this measure as well as a raise of the salaries would have prevented workers looking for another job, thus it would have enhance the standard of the service as well.
I regret to inform that there has been a clear breach of contract; therefore, our agency has decided not to renew it. However, and in order to avoid a massive dismissal, employee would have been granted a job in the prospective food service company as long as they fulfill all the requirements.
Thank you for your service.

The environment and atmosphere of this restaurant is a very sketchy and unprofessional feeling. The servers make customers feel that they are a bother to them. The music that plays all day long is country, blasting over the restaurant, which made it hard to hear anyone talk. The inside is not kept up either. Parts of the ceiling were falling onto tables and the floor and the server simply stated that it was because of the rain but never did anything about it. The bathrooms…

This letter is written in an attempt to appeal my academic probation and allow me to receive financial aid so I can continue my college education. During Module 3 and 4 my grades were poor. The cause is no less than my own fault, but I believe the circumstances I faced led my focus away from my education. In the beginning of 2012 I found out I was going to become a dad and that was a huge impact for my life so I had to get my self together and I knew going to school getting my degree would give me that opportunity to make my life and son life better but having to deal with my grandma suffered a heart attack and pasting away was an event that sent my world into a spiral, then also having to move to another state and not being stable enough to keep focus I was thrown off and this cause me to be in a depression mode. I continued school as best I could and helped my mother and take care of my grandma medical bills I took out additional loans for much more than was needed to pay for school. I was also out of a job and living off savings and credit cards, which was a huge mistake. Beginning towards the end of 2012 my bills began to pile up and I was getting behind. I managed to get a part-time job to help pay for bills and was still trying to go to school, but as the bills mounted part-time work wasn't enough to keep me afloat. I had to start working full time. I tried to continue my schoolwork as best as I can, but as time went on work took over my life and my education took a backseat. I didn't plan on this happening and I didn't want to withdrew from classes because school was the only thing I have at bettering my life and I constantly told myself I could maintain this , but it never worked for me. Now that I have stabilized myself a lot I have my own place full access to the internet in a very well comfortable environment I can guarantee improvement, I do not work at the moment I know I can be more responsible and take on a light,…

This letter is written in an attempt to appeal my academic probation and allow me to receive financial aid so I can continue my college education. During 2007 and 2008 my grades were poor. The cause is no less than my own fault, but I believe the circumstances I faced led my focus away from my education. In the spring of 2007 my father suffered a heart attack. This event sent my world into a spiral. I continued school as best I could and helped my mother take care of my father. To help with the costs of the medical bills I took out a private student loan for much more than was needed to pay for school. I was also out of a job and living off savings and credit cards, which was a huge mistake. Beginning towards the end of 2007 my bills began to pile up and I was getting behind. I managed to get a part-time job to help pay for bills and was still trying to go to school, but as the bills mounted part-time work wasn't enough to keep me afloat. I had to start working full time. I didn't plan on quitting school, so I never withdrew from classes and I constantly told myself I would go to class, but it never happened. Now that I have stabilized myself somewhat I hope to take on a light, manageable course load and get my education back on track. I hope this letter can help convince you that I can and will manage myself better and keep my grades up. Any additional information can and will be provided if necessary. Thank you for your time and consideration.…

The changes to the culture of the entire organization were profound and created a cognitive dissonance. The focus of the new administration was the bottom line and nothing else. Promises were not kept and threats of joblessness prevailed. Motivation plummeted. Extrinsic motivation was the only motivation for all the employees. The new method of motivation was not sufficient to retain the best employees. Benefits were curtailed, bonuses and raises were suspended, and recognition was nonexistent. The Expectancy X value theory was destroyed for those employees who depended on that type of motivation. Praise for a job well done became extinct because the new owner decided it was not necessary. The exclusive reliance on extrinsic motivation will fail if intrinsic motivation no longer exists. The employee retention problem returned with vengeance. Within the first 90 days after the new ownership, the department lost three of its best employees because the support for self-actualization ceased to be an important factor. Humans do not tolerate negative changes to their environment such as the workplace. If a hygienic environment becomes confused with misinformation, distrust, and lack of security it will become toxic. This became a very toxic workplace for all involved. Obviously, this was not the correct motivational theory to apply. The company closed one year later. Motivation is imminently important to any organization whether it be…

My name is Ali Shaheed and I am writing to appeal my suspension from financial aid. I hope that you will reconsider your decision and grant my financial aid. I would like to begin thanking you in advance for taking the time to read this letter and consider my request to reinstate my financial aid at Henry Ford Community College. I take full responsibility for my unsatisfactory completion rate, but I would like to explain the circumstances. I started my first semester at HFCC in winter 2012, and I failed to attend my classes due to my mother being sick, and I had to rush her to the hospital every other day. I had to take care of her because I’m the only one she had. In a result I failed to make satisfactory academic progress due to me not attending classes.…
