Remittance Letter * Letter of remittance is basically a document that accompanies checks or drafts that are submitted for collection. * A remittance letter is primarily used when the bank does not possess an account at the receiving bank. * It has the identification of sender with name and mailing address of the debtor. In addition to sender’s contact information, it also mentions the reference of the name and address of the creditor.
TIPS:
* Format for a remittance letter is brief and straight to the point. * Avoid using "text-speak" in the letter. Examples of text-speak are the substitution of the letter "U" for the word "you" or the abbreviation "plz" for the word "please". * State the purpose of the letter in the first paragraph. The closing paragraph should reiterate the purpose and include a follow-up date and time regarding the intended outcome.
Letter of Notification * A letter of notification is any letters whose purpose is to notify the recipient of something important. * It is used in many areas, but is most prevalent in the area of law. Many times, when a lawsuit is filed against someone, they are sent a letter of notification, stating what the claims are against them and how they are to respond.
TIPS:
* The first paragraph of the letter should explain in straight-forward terms the purpose of the letter. Additional paragraphs can be used to provide more information. * A good notification letter provides all relevant information to the situation and attempts to answer any of the recipient's questions before they are asked.

Letter of Acknowledgement * A letter of acknowledgement is a document that intends to convey sincere acknowledgement for someone's support that they gave to someone else. These letters are more formal and sincere than a standard thank you not.
TIPS:
* Letters of acknowledgement should be written with the utmost sincerity and graciousness so that the reader greatly
