Lessons Learned From The Holocaust
Not many people in this world know about the Holocaust. As years go by less and less people teach or learn about this huge event that occurred in our history. We are taught about our history, how it came to be and the holocaust is a subject you have to be careful with and also a time in our history not recommended to tech or you just learn a little part of it because it is not something you have to teach. Which is why I think it is vital that the lessons learned from the Holocaust be passed on to new generations. The Holocaust occurred in the year of 1933. This was an event started by Adolf Hitler. By teaching about the Holocaust it will teach younger people more about our history and it can help prevent from this happening again. This topic should be a must in school to teach because we eventually take a history class and if we are mandatory to learn about Ancient Greece history then why should we not learn more about the holocaust. This was a big event that if the germans kept ruling over jews it could have changed our history some things may not have been the same especially for those who are Jewish, it may would have made a big change or it may have made a small change. If the Jews never got freed then we probably would know what was going on but we would not have known their stories. Since it would have been happening in a different state out of the country then we probably would not have known so much about it because even me and many people at my school do not really watch the news or we are not aware of what is going on in our country, we are really mostly just concerned of the gossip that is going around or too busy online and we get blindsided, thinking that oh it is not a big deal we are far away from New York, ISIS will not come towards us or it is ok Mexico is not in the U.S anything they do it does not affect us.
