SURVEY ON HOW STUDENTS SPEND THEIR LEISURE TIME
The survey was conducted on 15 and 16 August 2012 by means of a questionnaire. About 20 students in the same cohort were asked an how their spend their leisure time. Students were required to tick items on a given list and give a reason why they chose the activity. Whenever the students are free, most of them about 45% will surf the internet. It was found that 30% chose involve in sports to fill up their leisure time. Shopping and doing others activities were selected by 10% and 15% respectively. Students like to surf internet in the leisure time. Students like to spend their times to surf internet because the internet provides high technology in social networking and as known as the library too. We can expect that some students likes to join the internet facilities such like face book, blog, and watch free online movie. Based on the survey, the students like to fill their leisure time with face book. Here, we guest that this facility has the advantage and disadvantage. Today, most people registered as the member of “face book”. By the way, we can know that people will know each other in different places and races by joining this facility. That is the good benefit to make people understand each other. The disadvantage of this activity is the students mostly will careless to study. That is why most of the students do not involve in outdoor social activities. On the other hand, the students also like to write in blog. This is the most quite popular in internet technology. Most students like to write in the blog to fill up their free time. This is the way they express their feeling and also share their information with others. This is very good activity not only to themselves and also to people. However, this activity also leads to the bad cause. Blogging is the free place to share something with people. So, some people use it for illegal information such like pornography and slandering. Apart from that, the
