With the seventh installment of Star Wars coming this month I figured it would make a good topic. This video talks about a popular new conspiracy theory where the character Jar Jar Binks was supposed to become the Sith lord instead of Palpatine. It makes some very convincing points. The clumsy character seems to find his way into some very powerful positions. This might have happened due to control of the force. Clips from the video show him flicking his wrists and while talking to lead characters. These conversations happened at crucial times during the film, and they all ended in the sith’s favor. The creator of the video believes he is using Jedi mind trick to sway the plot in his favor. The creator…

. lunges, but Vader repels the blow” and then “aggressively drives Vader back” (82). The duel between Luke and Darth Vader shows that Luke is becoming just like Vader himself because Luke uses aggression instead of the calm, serene nature of the Force. It shows that Luke is impatient and angry because he results to violence first instead of waiting, again, for his opponent to strike first. Luke uses his anger to try and wear down Vader, but instead Vader gets the upper hand because Luke is impatient and does not plan his moves accordingly and Vader beats him. He also lets his anger get to him and strikes wildly instead of letting the Force flow through him like most Jedi allow the Force to do. Lucas uses this to show, ultimately, that Luke is unintentionally following in his father’s footsteps and that without a change in path Luke will most likely go over to the dark side just like his father before him, who was overrun with anger and impatience. In the film, The Empire Strikes Back, Luke unconsciously follows in his father’s footsteps by being corrupted by anger and impatience in his training with Yoda, his encounter with his own soul in the cave on Dagobah, and in his showdown with Darth Vader in the carbon freezing chamber in Cloud…

This paper has been far more difficult to research than I thought it would be. Unfortunately, photographers are not always given the full credit they desrve for their work and therefore, it is impossible to find the names of the artists of some of my favorite photographs. Instead, I decided to just look up popular photographers in the fashion industry in hopes of having easier access to information. Despite the fact that I now had the names of some of the most world famous fashion photographers, finding information on them is a whole other story in and of itself. As I am beginning to realize, the saying among the photography department is true- if you are not Annie Leibovitz, you will not be known until you are dead. For example, one of my favorite photographers is Diane Arbus. She had compiled vast amounts of work throughout her career. Unfortunately, all of her works were found in a locker after her suicide and then she was seen as an artist. To summarize what I am saying is that the only famous photographers are dead ones and all the successful ones are barely known. So in order for this research paper to even have the possibility of making it it to four pages, I am going to have to choose the cliché (yet greatly talented) photographer, Annie Leibovitz.…

Since 2006 I've watched a number of Sandra Lee's "Semi-Homemade Cooking" episodes on The food Network; what captivated me from the beginning was both Sandra Lee's impeccable personal style and the elegance of her kitchen, which she changes for each episode. Sandra Lee is remarkably easy on the eyes - a modern-day throwback to the style, grace and beauty of the 1950's. That crispness is what she represents. Sandra Lee's originality is beyond compare and while she gives credit to her beloved paternal grandmother for instilling in her the love of baking and decorating, Sandra Lee's inventiveness is entirely her own. Many have grown up in challenging circumstances but not everyone can tastefully design a small apartment with inexpensive fabrics.…
