Keeping a digital calendar ensures that notifications will remind me of important dates. Additional written notes listing the assignments and readings will further allow me to stay on track. Before the class begins, I will silence my electronic devices and review the readings. Thus, I will not be a distraction to others and be prepared to contribute in discussions. Furthermore, being present and participating in class means I can revisit and reinforce …show more content…
I will allow myself ample time to write, read, and edit an assignment before submitting it. I will visit the assignments tab in Blackboard often to find more information on upcoming work and submit my digital copy. I will be editing my work several times before the due date in order to eliminate careless grammatical errors. Lastly, I will check if the formatting of the assignment follows the instructions and that an online copy is submitted alongside a physical printout. In summary, I am using the tools provided to become a productive and diligent student. Knowing the requirements and answering the prompts will be my two step program to succeeding on the assignments and overall class. Structuring my semester in this manner will guarantee I ease through the course without unnecessary

During our first group discussion I became really fond of the article "Children Are Not Colorblind: How Young Children Learn Race." Throughout the article I was shocked at the different aspects of children aging and how the develop their sight and sense of race and color of skin. It appears that saying that children are "colorblind" is a myth and I realized greatly how much this is true through this article. Children are actually seen as "blank slates" and don't develop racial prejudices until they are told about them. This statement proves that children don't develop racial prejudices unless they are influenced to have them.…

When the semester began I thought to my knowledge that my writing was that of good quality. Though I had a good basic understanding of the format of an essay or letter I still had a lot to learn. My writing changed in many ways such as learning to eliminate unnecessary wording in my thesis, the use of synonyms, analyzing quotes and writing abstract to concrete thoughts or ideas. This Class not only helped enhance my writing abilities but to also better evaluate the writings of others and forced me to acknowledge the rigorous work of future courses in college.…

In primary school, I was interested on playing cards such as Yu-Gi-Oh, and learned how card trading works. Enough of toys back then I was interested in bicycle mainly because it is the only transport I can use that time. We had a race every evening when going back from school. When my bicycle broke down, I remembered the time when I had to collect every bicycle part from junk and make a new one by myself and that was so satisfying. Next I was into games. I started playing it on pc until it broke down. Then I was so passionate of having a console so I decided to score in my exams to earn them by asking my parents. At that time I have owned collections of console such as Game Tape, Playstation 1, Playstation 2 and the last one Xbox360 and until now I played games on my laptop.…
