League Of Legends Narrative
Personal Narrative Our ADC went AFK due to him getting repeatedly ganked by Lee Sin, the enemy jungler. To most people, this sentence is utter nonsense; a couple of random words and phrases mashed into a collage that is confusing and bewildering. But to me and a few other people, it is a language. A language that I have been constantly speaking, writing, listening to, and learning for the short end of five years. A language I have a deep passion for. The language of League of Legends. I can remember the first day that I was graced with the knowledge that League of Legends existed like it was yesterday. I was bored, foaming at the mouth for the taste of a new experience. With a bit of searching on the internet I stumbled upon it. I had no high hopes for it, I merely saw a device to cure my boredom for a couple hours, maybe even a day. I don’t think I have ever been more wrong in my whole existence on this earth. To this day I still am engrossed by it. League of Legends has, for better or worse, become a part of me that I will never be able to forget. …show more content…
Two teams of five players must try to destroy each other’s base. That’s it. Sounds simple right? But when XP, gold, CS, wards, lanes, ganks, Barons, dragons, and countless other variables that no doubt make little or no sense to the uninitiated are thrown into the mix, the game morphs from kindergarten math into math so complicated and complex, that even the world’s best mathematicians would struggle. I was drawn in by the simplistic masquerade, and then found myself enthralled by the intricacies and competitiveness of the game. Every facet I discovered in the game was so interesting and unique that I couldn’t look at games in the same light ever again. If I wasn’t playing League of Legends, I was wishing that I was. There wasn’t a day where I didn’t think of it, I found something I truly loved doing. I was content. And to this very day, I still

First off, the most important thing about LoL is vision control, or warding. Having vision over objectives allows your team to secure them and obtain a greater advantage in the mid/late game. Also, warding helps you to spot enemy invades to prevent yourself from dying. This is a very useful habit you should get into. Warding can also help you catch an enemy off guard, granting you a free kill or assist.…

I remember the one day, it was early in the morning and I was going to my basketball game. We stopped to help this lady get home by giving her a ride. Then once we dropped the lady off at her house we drove off and had to stop for some deer to cross the road. Once the deer crossed the road, we were finally off to the game, we made it to the game with time to spare. With the time we had to spare I had some biscuits and gravy, and i devoured them in seconds and had some orange juice after.…

As the month progresses, Kayla continues to be in the Intensive Care Unit at Loma Linda Children’s Hospital. Although, she continues her battle, having her own room which has now been decorated for Halloween. I find it difficult to fight back my salty wet tears as I enter her room. She’s wearing her “Alice in Wonderland” costume. The crisp white collar on top of a Cerulean blue cotton dress. This is a holiday that she enjoys, together our family come to hang the scary black cats made of black construction paper, black bats, artificial spider webs and jack-0-lanterns pinned to her walls. Cut out white paper eerie ghosts and goblins fill the air. I can almost hear them shriek, “Boo, Boo.” The smell of warm caramel apples filled the room.…

On 10/15/17, approximately at 4:28am, I, Officer Rivera Ayala, responded to 613 Albers Lane in reference to a domestic trouble. Upon arrival, I met with the complainant identified as Virginia D. Matos (DOB 11/03/1982). Virginia stated that when she arrived home, her boyfriend identified as Enrique Cruz Ponce (DOB 07/20/1983) approached her and started arguing with Virginia. Virginia told Enrique that she was going to leave the house because she was tired of Enrique cheating on her. Enrique said that he was going to kill himself and placed a pocket knife around his neck. Virginia stated that she told Enrique to leave and Enrique pulled Virginia by the hair, threw her on the floor, spit in her face and somehow as she was trying to get away, Virginia was cut. I was an eight year old kid when I had my first ever glimpse of the NBA Basketball. It was a lanky afro manchild doing a reverse dunk versus Indiana right in front of the Laker crowd. Crowd was in awe, Commentators were ecstatic and Kevin Harlan in his usual voice saying, Kobe can’t be denied. That day, my love affair with the Los Angeles Lakers started.…

It all started at ninth street with some friends of mine John and I started recruiting some people to come play football with us. I honestly didn’t know I had a pretty decent arm. I originally was going to start practicing to play wide receiver instead of quarterback. At the time Odell Beckham Jr. ( wide receiver for the New York Giants ) was extremely explosive and dynamic on offense. Seeing him blow up on offense made me want to try out for wide receiver. But somehow John convinced me to play quarterback.…

All I hear is parents screaming, teammates awaiting the time when we jog out onto the brick chip field, and our coach telling us where we are going to play and how he wants us to work our butts off trying to win. I smell the popcorn, nachos, pretzels, and mostly what I smell is sweat mixed with a dingy dirt. I’m thinking in my mind, “We all have to give it our all to win the game.” So I put on my dirt crusted, sweat smelling glove on and hustle out to the red brick chipped field.…

    Soccer Personal Narrative

Soccer was one of the very first sports that I played when I was young. I participated in the sport for about six years before other responsibilities took over. I still missed soccer, I missed the practices, I missed the games, and I missed the fun. There were several occurrences of world matches between countries that I have watched. The envy grew as each “cup” passed. A few years ago, after watching the World Cup, I planned to buy myself some soccer shoes. However, I only purchased a ball, which was better than nothing. I dribbled it around occasionally as like said; I was busy with other activities. As this summer began, I found out there was going to be a Euro Cup and this sparked that little flame in which I still have in me. In addition to this,…

Whenever I have some free time, I would enjoy spending by it playing my favorite online game, League of Legends. I enjoy playing League of Legends because of the heart pounding adrenaline rush when I am in team fights or when I am running for my dear life. In this game, I feel as if I am one with the champion or character I am playing as. This feeling gives me multiple roles as well as a sense of significance, along with abilities and powers that are beneficial to the team. I feel important while playing this game because I am needed to successfully capture the other team’s base, scoring victory. I really enjoy this feeling and that is why this game is a part of my life.…

    Football Narrative

There had been only a couple days left till the very first football game of my senior year. The team we are playing was the Haywood County Spurs, and the game we had been preparing and practicing for since our sophomore year. The sun was blistering hot, shining down on my shoulder pads, baking me in my uniform like a freshly made apple pie on a summer day. This only made practice worse as I put all effort into it as I could. I was so sore and fatigued and happy that by the end of the week we wouldn’t be having any more sweat dripping practices. 100 yard dashes and High-jumps were not something people wanted to do every day, that’s for sure. And after those warm-up exercises we moved onto play calling. The team worked hard together during practices and repetitively did each and every play so that they came to us like a fond habit. We wanted to have these plays inscribed in our minds as we slept.…
