Laughter
What does laughter really do to a man?
Boosts immunity, lowers stress, decreases pains, relaxes your muscles, prevents heart disease, adds joy and zest to life, relieves stress, improves mood, enhances resilience, enhances a relationship, attracts others to us, enhances team work, helps reduce conflict, promotes group bonding.
Laughing away your distress, stress, pain, sorrows and thoughts is a natural process which changes the mood of a man and brings about piece of mind and relaxation. Studies so far have shown that laughter can relieve pain, bring greater happiness and even increase immunity and protect your heart from harm. Have you ever felt like you have to laugh or cry? Have you experienced that good feeling after a good laugh? Laughter provides a physical and emotional happiness or release and a good belly laugh exercises the diaphragm, contracts the abs and even works out the shoulders, leaving the muscles more relaxed.

Laughter takes the mind away from anger, guilt, stress and negative emotions in a more beneficial way than other mere distractions. It dissolves distressing emotions, you cant feel anxious, angry, or sad when you are laughing. Laughter helps you relax and recharges, it reduces stress and increases energy, enabling you to stay focused and accomplish more. Laughing with others is more powerful than laughing alone. Shared laughter is one of the most effective tools for keeping relationship fresh and exciting and it binds and it is always a source of happiness and closeness for a lot of people and most times it makes stress go away and the fun of it all is that at that moment of laughter you have nothing to think about but laugh and be happy.
Laughter and humor helps you stay emotionally healthy, it makes you feel good and the good feeling that you get when you laugh remains with you after the laughter subsides, so I believe it's a very reliable medicine for the mind and makes life pleasant and could be very useful for the depressed

Laughter is something that pleases the mind. Throughout our entire lives, we search for things that make us feel, even for the slightest amount of time, happy. Billy Collins writes, “Chalk dust flurrying down in winter, / nights dark as a blackboard” (Page 535). He is referring to happy times as a teenager. Being more than happy when the snow comes and school is out. Having nothing but time to be out of the house at all times of the night. Through conscious decisions, we forget about life. Sometimes even forgetting about the future.…

Laughter is important for both human emotional and mental health and it can play a helpful and healing role in parenting and family life. Laughing is one of the healthiest things one can do when confronted with the major stresses and emotional pains in life. The human capacity to laugh is significant and to understand our laughter is to go a long way toward understanding our humanity. Smiling and laughing go hand in hand; when you smile or laugh you release chemicals that boost your mood. Smiling releases the neurotransmitters serotonin and norepinephrine which are linked to depression when we have too little. When we smile or laugh we experience an increase of endorphins and a reduction of stress related hormones: cortisol or adrenaline. Endorphins are hormones that counter and destroy these stress hormones. As you can see in the photo, this girl seems to be in a great mood with her genuine smile.…
