INTRODUCTION
Background Information of the Study In our world today, there is no such thing that could not be touched by technology. Even a single device can be beneficial and maybe unbeneficial to us humans.
Since then, lasers are part of our new era of technology. Even the first laser was recognized as being potentially dangerous. It is still beneficial to us through its applications that can be used in many aspects.
Laser is a device that passes out light which is electromagnetic radiation through a process of visual amplification based on the stimulated discharge of photons. The term "laser" started as an acronym for Light Amplification by Stimulated Emission of Radiation.
Lasers technologies are now applied in medicine, industry, military, law enforcement, research, product, laser lighting displays, and cosmetic skin treatments. This helps us in many ways for it helps us to use things easier, efficient and valuable.
Objectives
The following are objectives of the study.
1. To ascertain the applications of a laser technology.
2. To learn more about laser technology.
3. To express the advantages and disadvantages involving the laser technology.
Importance of the Study This study of laser technology is now being harnessed in many varied applications. It

Bloodless surgery
Contemporary usage of bloodless surgery refers to both invasive and noninvasive medical techniques and protocols. The phrase is somewhat confusing. The expression does not mean "surgery that makes no use of blood or blood transfusion". Rather, it refers to surgery performed without transfusion of allogeneic blood.[7][8] Champions of bloodless surgery do, however, transfuse products made

    3. Laser – Acronym for light amplification by stimulated emission of radiation. The laser produces a coherent source of light with a narrow beam and a narrow spectral bandwidth (about 2cm). Lasers in fiber optics are usually solid-state semiconductor types. Lasers are used to provide the high-powered, tightly controlled light wavelengths necessary for high-speed, long-distance optical fiber transmissions.…

[laser is a device that emits light (electromagnetic radiation) through a process of optical amplification based on the stimulated emission of photons . Many scientific, military, medical and commercial laser applications have been developed since the invention of the laser , one of these application is laser rangefinder , which is a device that uses a laser beam to determine the distance to an object. The most common form of laser rangefinder operates on the time of flight principle by sending a laser pulse in a narrow beam towards the object and measuring the time taken by the pulse to be reflected off the target and returned to the sender. Due to the high speed of light, this technique is not appropriate for high precision sub-millimeter measurements, where Multiple frequency phase-shift and Interferometry techniques are used for higher precision .…
