Whenever I'd be in class I would feel so lost because it’d take me a while to grasp exactly what was going on while the other students were ahead. This has affected my academic achievement in high school because it has challenged me to put in my efforts to achieve my goal, which has been to be accepted into the college I desire. Considering that it is required for students to pass four years of English, my path to succeeding that has been rough, but I’ve managed to work through it and give it my all. The language barrier has allowed me to think differently in the sense of being able to think in one language and say it in another. Unfortunately, that’s where my problem has been.
