Lactose IntolerancePeople who are lactose intolerance are unable to digest significant of lactose, the reason being is and inadequate amount of enzyme lactase2. Individuals with lactose intolerance believe that they are allergic to milk and a lot of other milk products. An estimated 30 million to 50 million American adults are lactose intolerant. However a milk allergy has something to do with the proteins in milk rather than the lactose. To determine that you have trouble digesting lactose you must know your condition. There are different types of lactose intolerance, there are calciumconsumption strategies for patients for with lactose intolerance, and the question that a lot of people always question themselves with “Is lactose intolerance accurate?”. There are three main types of lactose intolerance. Lactase is high at birth in all in infants regardless of their race or ethnicity. Primary lactose intolerance is individuals that was able to digest lactose then later on started to experience the symptoms of digestive discomfort with no history or signs that they already had the disease. Secondary lactose intolerance is a gastrointestinal disease, which serve as gastroenteritis; inflammation of the lining of the intestines caused by a virus, bacteria or parasites. The last type is Congenital lactose intolerance which is glactosemia, a lifelong absence of lactase and very rare. It is not uncommon for Secondary lactose intolerance misdiagnosed during newborn period as congenital lactose intolerance. Symptoms of lactose intolerance can include abdominal pain, diarrhea, flatulence, and bloating. The severity of symptoms differs, often depending on the amount of lactase remaining in the body and how much lactose has been consumed. Most people with lactose intolerance do not require a completely lactose free-diet.
