Design Trade-Off Approach Kudler Fine Foods has had an increase in revenue and has put a spotlight on the frequent shopper program. The frequent shopper program will help progress operations and enhance the customer purchasing power. This will help gain more loyal customers as a means to increasing the dependability and abundance of the customers. Kudler Fine Foods frequent shopper program will track buying patterns of every customer who signs up for the program. The trade-off will be giving the customers loyalty points that can be redeemed for high-end gifts. Cost, schedule, and performance are three aspects that will decide the design trade-off approach to use regarding the frequent shopper program system. It is important for Kudler Fine Foods to choose the correct hardware and software because the wrong software could cost money and trade-offs in other areas of the frequent shopper program process. For example if the hardware for the program cost $150,000 and the software cost $75,000, but the hardware and software wind up not working, more hardware and software needs to be purchased. This could cause problems because the money used to reorder a new hardware and software may cause some of the team to be cut. It is very important for Kudler Fine Foods to include design trade-offs within the budgeting phase to ensure if any problems arise it will not affect in other part of the frequent shopper
