Military and Grandfather
The person I admire is my grandfather. I admire my grandfather because he is a good person. He doesn’t lie, cheat or steal. I think this makes him a good person. He is also very nice to me and teaches me what to do and what not to do.
I also admire my grandfather because he cares about me. When I’m over his house and I want to walk to the store in the dark he says no. This is because he cares about me. If I get snatched by a hoodlum he would never forgive himself. He cares about me because I am his son’s kid. He loves his son.
I admire my grandfather because he is brave. There was banging one night, and he went around the block to investigate. There was nothing there but he was brave to get the people away from his house. My grandfather will do anything to save his house and protect his family. If he thinks there is somebody downstairs he gets out of bed and investigates.
I admire my grandfather because he was in the military service. He was a marine and he fought for our country. He also fought for his family. He even jumped out of planes, diving.
I also admire my grandfather because he is 63 years old. He is really lucky to have made it this far in life. His birthday is the thirteenth of July. Hopefully he turns 64.
I admire my grandfather because he is really good at chess. He plays his buddies every year in a chess tournament they put together. He comes in the top three almost every time. If he doesn’t it’s fourth. I play him sometimes but I always lose.
