Kion Knights Ae2 Analysis
Kion Knights AE2.

For me, the most important thing to do if you want to perfect something is preparation, planning, and practice. Two problems for us prior to our presentation was our failure to prepare ourselves for the assignment properly and practice it so that we each knew the material flawlessly. Initially, we all met up before our presentation in an effort to practice and talk about our roles, but that effort was soon tossed out the window when we began to get side-tracked by going on our phones, going to get food, or just simply not contributing to the task at hand. There’s a quote by Henry Ford that has been with me since high school that goes well with my group, “Coming together is a beginning; keeping together is progress; working

First of all, during preparation, i will plan the date and frequency of meetings. Not like this time, during the Christmas, team members went travelling in different date, so we had to have meeting a week before new semester, which lead to everything is in a hurry. Then, when allocate individual task, I should choose a more challenging task or not very familiar aspect. In this way, I would be more active to learn new things. This time I choose marketing part because I learned this course in undergraduate, so it is easy for me to do my own work, but lost a good opportunity to access to new knowledge. As for the presentation, we were given 1 hour to record, but half an hour wasted in the adjusting the projector and the computer, as a result we only recorded twice. In addition, 3 minutes presentation is not long, but I supposed to write a draft and recite it to ensure a fluent speech. But fact is I did not prepare a draft and the content might a slight different in two recordings and also not fluent. Last one is next time we need to wear suit to make it more professional, not in casual clothes, which is uncomfortable for the…

What worked well for us was taking control of the assignment and the "get-it-done" attitude we adopted once we began communicating. We were able to assign team members different parts to work on, and each was posted in time and was put together well. The best was when one person took all the postings and as able to put it all together and edit the project.…

Once I had completed my presentation I felt there were a few things that didn’t go so well. I felt that my presentation wasn’t long enough for me to be able to explain my role in depth. Although I received good feedback from my peers, my self evaluation of my presentation wasn’t quite as positive. “Peer assessment is another means of encouraging reflection.” Petty (2004:323) My peers felt that at times I talked to the board rather than made eye contact with the group however they felt that this improved as time went on. I have identified that I am more comfortable in my workshop than I am in a classroom situation. Through teacher training and self evaluation of my own practice, I feel this will help me to improve my confidence over time.…

Being a perfectionist is hard when working on group projects. I have a very “My way or the highway” rhetoric, whether it is the most efficient way does not matter. I have left people out of the project entirely or hurt people’s feelings because of my corrections. This was exemplified in 8th grade in particular, I was in a group of three people doing our own design of an obstacle course to demonstrate velocity and centrifugal force. Already having a pretty good image of what the course should be and being the only person in the group with pre-existing knowledge of google sketchup, I then took the liberty of designing the entire course myself. By taking tedious measurements, and redoing different parts over and over again until they were perfect. My partners stood by, knowing that any suggestions would probably be thrown aside. Looking back upon this I regret leaving out my other partners and try to put myself into their shoes, realizing how much of a tyrant I must have appeared to be. This in the future could potentially cost me friends and relationships, along with providing some unpleasant situations. Long nights of driving myself mad because something is not perfect. I am now working on my perfectionist tendencies, and hope to see the benefits come my…

Obviously this is not my first time doing a presentation. But this is the first time I have a group to discuss with. I was delighted when my team mate asked me to be the head presenter. It clearly showed they had confidence in me. But I was also very nervous. After all, this wasn’t a presentation in front of my own class mate, but with other student. What’s more, Mr Erroy would be in the audience, expecting the best from me and my team. Luckily, though, I had seven weeks to prepare. This was important to me, because I wanted to have everything covered. I wasn’t going to leave things to the last moment…

When attempting to hold a productive meeting, the most important thing you can do is to create an agenda. This should be sent to all attendees well in advance to give everyone time to examine the topics and prepare what they need to say. Agendas highlight the purpose of the meeting and the decisions that need to be made. Without an agenda meetings lack focus and decisions will not be made since attendees will go off on tangents and…

One has to follow certain qualities to be perfect. These are hard work, strong will power, faith, tolerance , positive approach, self confidence and dedication. The quality that prepares one for all other qualities is practice. One should not stop practicing and be satisfied until one achieves perfection. Practice is the only way and only best way by which one can achieve perfection. Practice makes one feel and understand the same idea or thing again and again. The more one practices, the more errorless one becomes. One does not repeat the errors that were done previously. Practice begins in the cradle and ends in the grave.
