Kino Der Toten: Analysis
Kino Der Toten was a German theatre in the game Call of Duty Black Ops 1. It is a zombie map, where you have to survive against hordes of zombies. The zombies get increasingly difficult after each round. I love playing call of duty zombies. When I was younger, I was afraid to play the zombie mode in Call of Duty. I loved watching other people play it. I got to the point where I would play it with others but never by myself. I would try to play it by myself, but I got to scared in the first room and I quit.
Me and my friend Devin was playing zombies in general. Was was playing the old, older and newer. Black Ops 1, being the old, World at War, being the oldest, and Black Ops 2, being the newest. They all had zombies, so we played them all.

Any time we played a game, I hated to lose. When I did lose, I would try again. Over and over until I won. I don't know when it started, but I just don't know when to quit. That doesn't mean I don't know when to stop doing something. I think it's about me loving to play games rather than quitting. I remember playing Dragon Ball Z Budokai 3, and getting stuck on fighting Majin Buu. Dragon Ball Z Budokai 3 is a fighting game based around the full story of the Dragon ball, Dragon Ball z, and Dragon Ball GT. I couldn't beat him for nothing. I tried over and over for a week back to budokai 3. After a few tries, and breaks, I finally beat it. Anytime I play a sport, and lose. I make sure the teams are the same and I keep playing until we win. Unfortunately, sometimes we don't end up winning, but it hurts my soul when we lose. Also it’s hard to get a full losing team to cooperate.
I am always the last person to say “I quit,”
I hate when people quit for no reason, or because they don't want to do whatever we was doing. I feel like I was born with a, no quitting spirit. The words “I quit,” means a lot to me.

    Over the past decade, interest in zombies in pop culture has sky rocketed. There have been over 100 games and movies featuring the living dead. George Romero’s 1978 film Dawn of the Dead, sequel to Night of the Living Dead, gives its audience insight into these evil symbolic structures known today as zombies. In this film, there are four survivors that take refuge in a huge shopping mall, sealing the doors and creating a zombie-free hideout. This movie is often referred to as one the best horror films of its time and a door way to today’s interest in zombies. Throughout the film, the four survivors deal with hundreds of zombies and at the climax are also having to deal with a biker gang. Although not all four of these characters survived, the mall was a perfect spot for the movie to take place according to a review done by the Spinning Image Company. “The mall is a brilliant location, not just for the satirical possibilities it offers Romero, but also for creating some clever, unsettling imagery,” said Daniel Auty in his review. Auty is speaking of the several times throughout the film where Romero would cut to a scene of just zombies roaming random parts of the mall.
