Akhenaten, the so called "Heretic Pharaoh was a Ruler of Egypt during the period known as the 18th Dynasty. He ascended to the throne as Amenhotep IV, succeeding his father Amenhotep III. Akhenaten's brief reign, of hardly more than sixteen years, happened at a difficult time in Egyptian history; a period in which the decline of the previously unparalleled Egyptian empire seemed inevitable. Many scholars maintain that Akhenaten was responsible for this decline, but evidence suggests that it had already started. Whatever his connection with the decline of the Empire, one aspect of Akhenaten's reign is indisputable: his religious reforms. Effectively discarding the beliefs of an Empire, Akhenaten denounced the existing polytheist religious…

They realize it is not all just having fun and doing whatever you want. On the other hand, some people would argue that “Is it tough being a kid? Try being a president’s kid”, more accurately displays the life of Barron Trump, but in the article, adults are explaining the life of being a first child. The article ends up using examples from previous first children of the White House, that are now adults and other adult White House experts. For example “Doug Wead, who wrote a book about the children of the presidents, said it’s the ‘ultimate hurt’ when the offspring become the vehicle for the ire that some grownups wish they could direct toward the president. He said kids become targets because they’re…

According to Egyptian documents the Egyptians loved cats more than anything else. They honored them like we honor the president. The only people in ancient Egypt to have cats were the pharaohs. The pharaohs could not give, trade, or sell their cats to a foreigner. It would be a crime and was not tolerable. If you killed a cat you would be killed by other Egyptians. A roman soldier was once killed for accidently killing a cat. If you accidently kill a cat you would have to fake mourning to trick the other pharaohs into believing you didn't do it. If a cat were to die it would be turned into a mummy and would be buried on top of your coffin.…

Ivan was very quick to say that he wanted an opportunity to go hiking or boating and that he really enjoyed animals. Heidi also loved nature walks and shopping, but said she really enjoyed old buildings and architecture and wanted an opportunity to see some of those things. It seems to me that birthday celebrations’ become less interesting as time passes. There are no more party hats, balloons, cake, ice cream, and the joyful sound of “Happy Birthday.” I guess that’s why we hold all the good memories inside our heart, so whenever there’s a bad issue that may come up, we can reminisce on the past. In fact, birthday celebrations in my family were rare because my grandmother was raising eight children in a three bedroom house by herself, and she wasn’t able to provide certain things we needed at times. I do remember one special birthday that made me realize how important family means to me.…
