King Arthur That: A True Hero
I was doing some additional research on King Arthur That was a hero in is time. Although there is really no proof that he really exists, but I think that he could have lived at a time of tragedy. At the end of all of King Arthur's doing, he sought on a journey to discover the Holy Grail. No one knows what King Arthur's Propaganda might have been. Although it could have been that King Arthur might have set out to find the Holy Grail for power or to seek God himself. Again like how I wrote before nows why he sought for the Holy Grail besides the people that also were looking for it with him.

According to legend King Arhtur was raised in a castle by a Sir Ector. King Arthur always stood up for good and was good

Additional proof of Arthur being an archetypal hero are the tests, allies and enemies he encountered within the story. He faced many tests on his journey but one stood out. This test was the one where Arthur was getting the hour hand from Mister Monday. To actually get to Mister Monday he had to first cross a web that would only be out for a few minutes then go through a pit of snakes that would spit poison and finally through a pit of “dark yellow mud that bubbled and popped like burning porridge”(311). This all lead up to Arthur getting the hour hand from Mr. Monday.…

The myth is situated in the 6th century, in Sub-Roman Britain, when the romans left the territory and the Saxons invade Great Britain. There is no historical data to contrast whether King Arthur existed or not, but the legend says he existed in the advanced Middle Ages but that is impossible because if he did existed it would have to have been a lot earlier. It was the authors of the medieval age, minstrels and troubadours that founded the myth attractive and transferred it to their time. Due to the decline that England suffered following the abandonment of Roman Empire and the entry of the Saxon orders, any historical data that allows us to think that King Arthur existed disappeared, but what happens is that the authors of the Middle Age idealized the character.…

King Arthur is supposedly a real person who existed in times of feudal Rome. The movie King Arthur is a fictional take on the real life of King Arthur. King Arthur is mainly known for being king because he pulled Excalibur, his sword, from a rock as a child, which showed his natural strength. That is not true. He did pull Excalibur from a rock, but he became king because of his war triumphs and great leadership of the Knights of the Round Table.…

For hundreds of years, stories of heroes and their journeys have been passed down to many groups of people. Excalibur and the Bible are two of the most commonly known stories to have survived through generations. The similarities between King Arthur and Jesus Christ start when they were conceived. They were said to have been conceived unusually and almost magically. King Arthur grew up in a place where many people needed help. In the Bible, Jesus grew up only to find out that he was born to save the world from sin. Despite the seemed inability to do such difficult tasks, each of them accepted his fate without hesitation or question. Likewise, in their similar deaths, they were both betrayed by a close friend. In each of these stories, all of the efforts Arthur and Jesus put forth were devoted to the well being of their people. The similarities between Jesus Christ and King Arthur are often depicted in many of the…

He excelled in his search for the Holy Grail, the grail that was believed to have been the very same one the son of the Christian god drank from himself. He rid his land of treachery with his sword of magical properties, Excalibur. Excalibur is fabled to have been lodged in stone for hundreds of years, though many had tried to pull it from the stone hold, only Arthur was able to do, which earned him his throne in Camelot. Upon his throne, Arthur created the roundtable for the purpose of all his knights and advisors to be equally heard and seen during cabinet…

Thinking his career was over, MacArthur was recalled to active duty four years later in the summer of 1941. He became the commander of the US forces in the Pacific. A Japanese invasion of the country drove MacArthur's troops away. However, in the next few years MacArthur led a series of successful attacks on the Japanese military. He was frequently critical when his superiors decided to focus military resources on Europe rather than the pacific. In 1945, the end of the war, President Truman appointed Douglas to supreme Allied commander. He was placed in charge of the formal surrender of Tokyo and for the next 6 years he remained in Japan to oversee the rebuilding of the country. In 1950 he drove back the North Korean army in their invasion…

In some depictions of the British warrior, known as King Arthur, he was a brilliant military strategist. One piece of evidence that points to this is the Saxon invasion of Britain during the 5th to 6th century, as the British forces were led by an unnamed military mind (“King Arthur”). This evidence gives a historical invasion that led to one depiction of an Arthur. The next piece of evidence is that Britain prevailed in the Saxon invasion under the leadership of a warrior that excelled in military strategy. This is interesting information that can be perceived as one of Arthur’s first steps to saving Britain. The final example to note is that it is believed that Arthur’s affiliation is Roman (“King Arthur”). This information is exceptional because there might be religious reasons why Arthur is depicted as this great warrior. With that said, knowing Arthur’s possible affiliation allows a person to connect him with the military mind that led the British forces as that leader was affiliated with the Roman.…

The legend of King Arthur can be traced as far back as the fourth and fifth centuries. But the earliest tales of Arthur were almost nothing like they are today. There were no wandering minstrels, or ladies–in–waiting, or knights in shining armor taking on bold quests to defend their ladies. Instead, there were tales of giants, and magic cups, and invaders from a foreign land. In some ancient versions of the legend, Arthur is a hero whose deeds are comparable to those of Hercules. In more modern versions, he is merely a king whose knights are the real heroes of the story. The earliest tales of Arthur were spread largely by word of mouth, and very few written accounts survive. Of the ones that do, we do not have the original documents, only copies…

As he celebrated the first anniversary of his reign, Arthur wanted to befriend the six kings in the west by sending messengers with gifts to greet them. Though these kings were bitter at first, it is stated in The Tale of King Arthur that, “they all agreed to parley with Arthur, and pledged themselves to his safety” (Malory 27). In Arthur’s effort to provide peace he used largesse to help keep people satisfied. Part of Arthur’s strength to lure others to trust him was relied in the prophecy Merlin who stood by Arthur and helped him become the legend he is. Arthur was also very forgiving of others. He had imprisoned Sir Balin for killing one of his cousins while jousting but when he had withdrawn the sword from the scabbard presented by the noblewoman; he represented that Arthur’s knights are of the best. As Malory writes:…
