Kidnapping Case Studies
I was working on the last bit of paperwork for the kidnapping case I had just solved, when I received a call. I was informed that I was on a new case and needed to start as soon as possible. I quickly finished up the paperwork and went to look at the case files. It was mostly empty, with just the newspaper article, photos of Elizabeth, and little bit of information about her. I decided that I should head straight to the crime scene to gather all the evidence that I could.When i got to the scene, I noticed Elizabeth laying in a pool of her own blood with bullet wounds to the chest. There was blood all over the carpet as well as footprints heading out the door. While collecting evidence throughout the apartment I collect four different fingerprints,

I interview each of the suspects and all three of them state that they have no idea who killed Elizabeth. I did however find that each of the suspects might have a reason to be mad at Elizabeth and all of them went to her apartment that day. When returning to the lab I started going through Elizabeth’s text messages on her phone to see if she had gotten any kind of threats. I find that she is fighting with her best friend, her ex is determined to get her back, and her co-worker, who is always jealous of her, needs help on a article. Not having enough evidence, I go back to the apartment to see if I can find anything else to help solve this case. I do a further investigation and notice a security camera facing towards the door. When watching the video of that day i see all the suspects come in but all of them leave before the murder; however, when looking at the time when she was killed, a small person, who is dressed in all black with a hoodie, walks through the door and leaves with blood on their feet. Having a feeling I know who it is I decide to see if I can find anymore evidence to back up my theory. After searching some more, I find a small piece of fabric from a girl's blouse that had with fingerprints of the
