Katlyn Jean Meldman Biography
October 15, 2001 a little baby girl was born, she was named Kaitlyn Jean Feldman. She had an older sister by two years named Melyssa Anne Feldman. She was a happy baby and toddler. Every summer until she was ten she got to go camping a few times. When she was four years old she went to Disney World she was too small to ride any rides so she focused on getting autographs from the characters. Even though Kaitlyn doesn't remember much of the trip she knows it was fun. From pre-k to third grade she had been to a handful of schools. Her favorite by far was Carbon Valley Academy. She was there in first grade, part of second and all of third. Everything was good for awhile in fact it was great. In third grade she had joined Odyssey of the Mind. She

There wasn't a day that she wasn't happy unless someone was hurt or something bad happened. She loved to read and create art. She would look forward to getting home so she can ride her bike and go to the creek so she could be with her friends and let her imagination run free. These were her favorite days because she was always happy and so excited to wake up in the morning to go do something and start a new adventure. This was her life every day and she did not want anything to change. All good things come to an end though or so she has heard. She was happy until October 12, 2011 when her dad got stung by a bee. He wasn't allergic but somehow he went into cardiac arrest and had a heart attack. He died for eighteen minutes and went into a coma for awhile. Her whole family was sad and she just wanted him to wake up and be okay. She didn't get that though, instead she got the darkest weeks of her existence. When he finally woke up he had lost twenty five years of his memory. He didn't know who she was and she finally knew what true sadness felt like. She didn't lose her dad physically but mentally. After months of physical therapy and being in the hospital she finally got part of her dad
