Not only because they are the ‘Kardashians’ but because it shares a lot of inside information about them and their progress on becoming stars in the big world. Because not everything happens on the big screens, how they really live? And how they truly get along with one another. Kardashian Konfidental would be top on the list for recommendations coming from my point of view. It tells you about their past and talks about everything from their childhood to their rough time dealing with their father’s death, till there life now. They each individually talk about professional and private life matters. This book highlighted the importance of family and demonstrated the common experiences everyone goes through with growing up. It was nice of them to share their personal stories, I mostly loved it because with most of their issues I could relate to, and being able to relate to something always makes it easier to comprehend.
The colorful pages are jam packed with photos from childhood and beyond, there are some major messages from this book that grabbed me some are ‘to just be happy with your body and that in life, God created you for who you are and that you should always listen to your parents and realize they love you with all their hearts’. The things I liked about this book were the pictures and notes to each other that were added from when the Kardashians were in elementary and high school. I valued that this book

Since we spend at least half our waking lives on the job, we ought to like what we do. Fun on the job, in fact, ought to be a precondition for our careers. Whether you work within or help create a working environment, that environment simply must be a place where fun is not only an acceptable but an encouraged attitude on the part of the people in your organization.…

I would use this book as a springboard to promote weekly lessons regarding self-esteem. Providing it is permissible to copy the pictures from the book, I would create a weekly bulletin board. For example, I would start with Lawrence the Lion and his virtue of courage. Throughout the week, I would refer to Lawrence, discuss the word courage and find visual examples to post on the board. Another example, is Buddy Beaver, whose character quality is to take care of the world around him. We would talk and find ways we could all better to the…

Every year that I was in school, up until ninth grade, the teachers had us write a letter to the new students for the next year to make their transition just that much easier. Another things that I liked about the book is she described setting up her classroom for the first time. She included how she dressed up her bulletin boards for the first day, her mean teacher outfit for the first day, and why and how she arranged the desks. Honestly, as a student learning to become a teacher, these are not things that one normally thinks about before they actually become a teacher. One of the things that this book inspired me to do for my own benefit on my way to becoming a teacher, is to start a notebook with ideas on how I am going to go about my teaching styles, ideas on curriculums and projects, whether it be arts and crafts or bulletin…

One way to tell is that Day incorporated diction, or word choice, and tone to specify who her book is for. She uses hashtag symbols in her chapters, a symbol that is commonly used to show what is trending on social media sites such as Instagram, Facebook and Twitter. This stands out as a symbol recognized to be part of teenage and young adult culture, as these sites are not as frequently…

In today's Society conversations between males and females has become difficult. There are a lot of miscommunications between males and females. In Deborah Tannen’s article “ Sex, Lies and Conversations” Tannen talks about how men and women talk differently to each other as well as the misunderstandings between each. She believed that no one person was at fault, whereas the differences caused by sexual standards. I feel that communication changes between males and females when in a different age group. This book is the best book to introduce to children as their first chapter book, because it includes some pictures that help the transition from picture books to chapter books. There is a quote in the book that says, “life is always a rich and steady time when you are waiting for something to happen or to hatch” (p.176). This quote has always stuck with me when I read this book, because it is a quote that can be used throughout a person’s life. If a book can stick with you for that long, it is definitely an important book to…

For the first time since the brave Hilary Clinton, we have another woman running for president. Ladies and gentlemen, Kim Kardashian. Kardashian has plenty of prior accomplishments she has already made including things like her families reality TV show which has lasted eight seasons with three spinoff shows. Kardashian and her other two sisters also have their own chain of stores named “DASH” which have three locations, the first in Los Angeles, the second in Miami and the last they opened in New York City. Kardashian also recently got engaged to one of the richest rappers in the US, Kanye West. Their engagement took place on her birthday at Giants Stadium where Kardashian, of course, said yes. Their child North is now 4 months old.…
