Brief Summary:
In the novel Julie and Kishore, The author, Carol Jackson talks about one english girl and one Indian guy falling in love with each other. Julie has red hair, is english, has freckles, and just wants to be loved by some guy in the world. She just wants to find the right guy and she wants to be a bride to a groom who loves her. So then, she finds a man who is from india but just moved to New Zealand about two years ago and his name is Kishore. Julia claims that if she would have found the right man she would want to have her fairytale wedding she has dreamed of since she was little. She would plan on wearing a white laced gown with beaded delicate pearls and have a white lace veil covering her face. The groom would just moved …show more content…
She wants to marry a guy who will with her forever but it is kinda hard to do that because she can’t really find her Mr. Right as they say. She just wants to have a fairytale wedding with a guy that she is madly in love with. Julie is the protagonist of this novel because she is the one that is mostly facing the problem on wanting a man.
Kishore: Kishore is a guy who had fallen in love with Julie who is a beautiful and kind. They soon get married throughout the book, Kishore has moved from India to New Zealand because he just wanted a new environment to live in and find the right girl. When he met Juile, he instantly fell in love with her and knew that they would fall in love soon enough. When his parents told him that he couldn’t get married to her at first. He said that “ No matter what race they are, I can still date or marry whoever I want”. His parents were really shocked that he said that because that’s when they knew that Kishore was determined to give her that ring and marry
