My friend Banquo and I were returning from a battle we had just participated , as we rode our horses on a trail that leads us to King Duncans castle i felt a very unusual feeling i’m not quite sure if it was because i had just killed thousands of men or if there was a beyond explanation to why i felt so unusual. Banquo and I were still on our way when suddenly we both heard odd noises , I was prepared to defeat anything or anyone coming my way. I yelled out to say what it was and to come out. (“Speak if you can. What are you?”). That is when three woman came out , scared to see these woman; they looked very creepy. One of them began to shout out “All hail Macbeth! Hail to thee , Thane of Gladmis! then the second one “All hail Macbeth! Hail to thee, Thane of Cawdor! then lastly the third witch said “All hail, Macbeth! that shalt be king hereafter”. I didn’t understand why they were saying this , i was confused. I wondered how they knew my name and how they found me. Banquo began to ask them questions and the witches responded with “Hail!” repeating this over and over again “Lesser than Macbeth and great , much happier and that thou shalt be kings”. At this pointed i was getting over the fact that these women were creepy but eager to know more , i wanted to ask them much more; but just as i was going to ask the witches vanished.!
After the witches left , i was shocked at what i had just seen but more at what i had heard coming from these witches. i began to question myself i was insane? if i had just been dreaming with eyes open?. Ross and Angus arrived they gave us the great news that i had been given the name of “Thane of Cawdor” just like the witches had said to me. For a moment i felt like this wan’t real , like if this was some sort of joke. I had mixed feelings , i was completely lost. I didn’t understand how the witches knew i was going to be titled “Thane of Cawdor” , could it be true that they can read my

When the witches tell Banquo that his children will be kings, Macbeth was also present. In which case Macbeth should have realized that Banquo 's sons would be a threat to him. But Macbeth was unable to see the larger image and only focused on what would happen to king Duncan, he did not expand his imagination but simply kept to the right side. Ofcourse later on Macbeth begins to see this, but it is too late and people have already begun suspecting him of killing King Duncan. If we look at the situation from another angle we might also find a paradox, would Macbeth have become king if the witches had not told him about his future in which case, Lady Macbeth would have never received the letter and couldn 't have persuaded Macbeth into murdering King Duncan. This also links back to belief and religion where if you believe something you would most likely strive for it and succeed.…

In this quotation, we can see that the three Weird Sisters hailed Macbeth as the three titles that he will have in a future, but they never let him know that he had to kill King Duncan. Nonetheless, Macbeth had already thought that the only choice to become the King of Scotland was to kill Duncan in order to take his place. Consequently, Macbeth shows his ignorance because he wanted to believe that this was a prophecy and it could change his life being the most important man in the kingdom. Then, when he wanted to know something more about this information, the witches disappeared. This revelation was as ambiguous as the prophecies of the Oracle that Macbeth had to figure out how to interpret that prediction. In order for…

With my new found facts I decided to let everyone know exactly what I learned. Not a good idea. The doctor put me back on medication and a sent me to an in-house institution. “There are no such things as witches, Mandie, that is all an illusion” he said. I was baffled. All those emotions came back. It is like a roller coaster. What a blessing and a curse it is to be a witch. Self-doubt, embarrassment, and insecurity are the first few feelings that come with learning and accepting your…
