Joseph Turrin Two Portraits
Joseph Turrin, one of the most prolific composers of the twentieth, with most of his work commissioned by various artists and orchestras. The Two portraits entail of two contrasting sections the first one made for a flugelhorn and Piano and the second for the trumpet and piano. It centers an energetic statement, with recurrent motifs providing a melodically expressive lyrical episodes. Turrin has 25 recordings, several movie recording such as, A New life, Nightmare on Elm Street, Tough Guys, etc., and 25 commissioned works and over 162 compositions.
