Jonas Are Separated From The Community
Jonas is isolated from the community, which can cause a negative or positive lifestyle. Jonas can see everything differently. No one can understand him and he can’t talk to them about anything, this can cause him to be lonely and frustrated. However, being isolated can be a positive lifestyle for Jonas because he gets to experience memories, colors and feelings. He can also feel love and happiness In the novel Jonas got picked to become the Receiver, at that moment he knew his whole life was going to change. Now Jonas can see color and he knows about memories. He knows about the war, color, real holidays and death. He can see the world different know. Jonas never knew what release meant. He always thought that release was that they go elsewhere. “His father was talking, and Jonas realized that he was hearing the answer to the question he had started to ask. Still in the special voice, his father was saying, ‘I know, I know. It hurts, little guy.
