John Fitzgerald Kennedy John Fitzgerald Kennedy elected in 1960 as the 35th president was Americas youngest president. John F Kennedy was the first Roman Catholic that held the presidential title. Kennedy was born into a wealthy American family, highly educated, and recognized as a hero in the Military. While in term John F Kennedy had many achievements and many plans for America. Kennedy was always liked by many of the people of America but many people saw different. John F Kennedy was assassinated on November 22 1963 in Dallas Texas. This shocking event left Kennedy a huge historic hero. John K Kennedy was born on May 29th 1917 in Brookline Massachusetts. He was the son of Joseph Patrick Kennedy Rose Kennedy. Joseph acquired a multimillion dollar fortune in banking, bootlegging, ship building, film, and was also a skilled player of the stock market. Rose and Joseph were both members of two of Boston’s most prominent Irish catholic political families. John or known as Jack was second of nine siblings, Rosemary, Kathleen, Patricia, Rose, Joseph, Jean, Eunice, and Robert. Jack lived a privileged youth but was diagnosed with a rare endocrine disease. Throughout his youth John attended many private schools such as, Canterbury and Choate. Kennedy later graduated from Harvard in 1940. After graduating John joined the Navy in 1943.He was awarded the Marine Corps Medal of Heroism for rescuing a marooned crew. While attending Harvard Jack was his father’s secretary following him all over Europe which launched his early career. Kennedy became a democratic congress man from the Boston area; he later advanced to senate in 1953 which lasted for three terms in congress. Jack also worked in labor management relations and passed bills helping fishing and textile industries. Kennedy also achieved to improve New England’s economy.
