John The Baptist Mission Statement
I, John Baptist de La Salle spread his love and compassion for the people of his country. He dedicated his life to giving good quality education to kids of all background rich or poor. Brother Leo Kirby did really well describing the life of John the Baptist, in the text it says "if I were asked what was my greatest contribution to education, I'd have to say that it was recruiting quality teachers and giving them a sense of pride in their work “Brother Leo Kirby also states that "our brothers are intelligent, well educated, compassionate, unselfish, and full of faith. He gave up his salary to a poor priest and gave his money to feed the hunger. That was the point when John the Baptist truly recognized himself as a Christian brother. Reading this booklet written by Brother Leo Kirby truly inspired me, it taught me to be a good person and to be faithful to god. I am glad I picked St. Johns College High School as a school that will allow me to grow as a person and to challenge/strengthen me to the best person I can be. The mission statement of St. Johns connects with john the Baptist and his philosophy. SJC mission statement “is to provide a human and Christian education to young men and women from diverse socioeconomic and cultural backgrounds”. Going into my first year in St. Johns, I hope to excel in my academics and athletics. I wish to continue receiving straight A’s through hard work and dedication, and to be involved with St. Johns community. The classes I will be taking hope to challenge me and to make me academically stronger. I also wish to participate in clubs, such as model UN and Girl Up where I can discuss political issues around the world and connect with students as
