Lorraine also should have stopped John from throwing the party. Alcohol shouldn't have been allowed to the house party. Helen shouldn't have torn Conchetta's old dress and Norman shouldn't have destroyed Mr. Pignati's porcelain pigs. Juliet’s parents have an important role for the deaths of Romeo and Juliet. As the mother of Juliet, Lady Capulet is meant to comfort Juliet. The title of this book relates to the story, because in the book, Ponyboy and Johnny are "outsiders." They can be thought of as Outsiders because they are labeled Greasers although they do not act like hoodlums, like the rest of the Greasers. They are thought of as Greasers just because they live on the East Side of town, and because they slick back their hair. But Ponyboy and Johnny are different then all of the other Greasers because they show their emotions, and are sensitive.…

Sometimes, a person or people are given blame or credit for things they did not cause. This is true in life as well as in fiction. The story of Romeo and Juliet is a good example of this. Too often Romeo and Juliet are blamed for their deaths and the deaths of others in Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet, as well as given credit for ending the Capulet and Montague feud. Friar Laurence had the largest impact on ending the Capulet and Montague rivalry by encouraging their love, through his influence of the characters based on their trust in him, and because his plan led to Romeo and Juliet’s deaths.…

The tragedy of Romeo and Juliet is a very complicated one. A series of initially independent events interrupt one another, making it fairly difficult to place blame on one person. So, we should take a look at the instigators of each event to determine who is to blame. The initial events are the fight caused by Sampson, Gregory, Abraham, and BAlthasar which reignite the family feud, Romeo falling in love and marrying Juliet, and Lord Capulet arranging Paris’ and Juliet’s marriage. With this list of people we can determine who is to blame.…

Why is blame so easy to hand out yet so hard to be handed? By definition, blame is the responsibility for a fault or wrongdoing. People tend to blame others or events for the sorrows in their lives, yet most can never stop and accept the repercussions of their own actions. For example, a bad test grade can only put blame onto the taker for not studying or seeking help. Likewise, a mere victim of a random shooting cannot be held accountable for the actions of the shooter, who is blamed fully. However, in the tragic ending of Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet, the plot is full of accusations and offenders, not a single guilty party. When pin pointing blame for the outcome of the play, it can be dispersed across the board. However, there are multiple…
