Job Safety Analysis and Cost Safety Analysis

Introduction The following document outlines lines the domestic works conducted on a new garage area, which includes the preparation and application of epoxy coatings to the floors and walls. This will include the scope of the works, as well as a job safety analysis and a costing analysis on the intended works. The job safety analysis is presented as it was written by the sub-contractor, Epoxy Coating Services and to be received by the Work supervisor which in this case will be Sam Sommerville to be approved before works can commence. A cost safety analysis will also be performed on the job safety analysis to identify a rough estimate of cost, of the safety equipment required to allow this job to commence.
Background Information
The domestic works involve a newly constructed two door garage, with a reinforced concrete slab for the base and three reinforced concrete walls. This job required the floors and walls of the garage to be prepared and have epoxy coatings applied to the concrete surfaces; these works will be conducted by the sub-contractor and monitored by the work supervisor.
Scope of Work
The scope of work will outline the inclusions and exclusions of the entire job regarding the epoxying preparation and application on the floor and walls of the newly constructed garage.
Inclusions
Subcontractor shall provide all labour and supervision
Subcontractor shall provide all materials, plant and equipment,
Internal exposed concrete floors
Preparation of concrete surfaces i.e. Grinding, acid, water blasting
Preparation of epoxy products
Application of Epoxy coating of the Garage concrete floor base Application of Epoxy coating of the Garages three concrete walls
Removal of debris and general clean-up of work site

Exclusions
Sub-contractor will not conduct the Painting of the walls and floors
Sub-contractor will not
