Jesus Is The Ultimate Scapegoat
One becomes a believer in Jesus Christ when they search for him. Matthew 7:7 says, "Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find." The individual must acknowledge that things of this world cannot save them before they begin this search. If one truly seeks God, God will reveal himself to this person one way or another. Once this revelation takes place, they must understand that Jesus died for their sins. Isaiah 53:5 says, "he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities." Jesus was the ultimate scapegoat. They must also be willing to deny themselves and place Christ first in their life. The individual can then accept God's gift. Once they have accepted this gift, they will become a believer in Jesus
