Title : “ Intelligent IR based Automatic highway lighting system with day/night sensor”

Description: The high way lights will be monitored manually which in turns is a waste of huge human power wastage at the instant when proper monitoring is failed. This drawback can be overcome by implementing a sophisticated automatic monitoring system through which high way lighting can be monitored automatically before the sunsets and they are switched off the next day morning after there is sufficient light on the roads. But the actual timings for these high way lights to be switched on are when there is absolute darkness. There is provided an infrared sensor unit for deactivating an electrical appliance when left unattended b its ser. When a person in the field of vision of the sensor detects the presence and activates highway lighting system. If it is day time the lights get OFF this operation can be performed by light sensor (LDR).

Description: The term PSO refers to a relatively new family of algorithms that may be used to find optimal solutions to numerical and qualitative problems.PSO technique is used for registration, which is a fundamental task in image processing that, is used to match two or more pictures taken. In this we choose a point-mapping technique because it reduces the complexity of registration algorithms, increases the precision of the optimal transformation and permits to eliminate a big number of aberrant matches.
