Jack Dorsey's Negative Effects On The Technology World
Jack Dorsey had a very strong effect on the technology world. He invented Twitter. Twitter is a type of social media where you can post messages under 140 characters to a timeline where your “followers” can view what you said. These messages can be about how your day was, what you’re doing currently, or even what food you’re eating. You can also add up to four pictures along with your message. Followers are the people who can see all your posts on their timeline. You may follow friends, family, or celebrities. As soon as Twitter launched he removed his nose ring and cut his hair to try to look more mature and to resemble other inventors. He also changed the way he acted and dealt with situations. He soon started to act like an adult.
Dorsey also invented the app Square. Square isn’t used quite as much as twitter, but it is still used a good bit. Unlike Twitter, Square is used mostly by adults. Square is an app where you can pay with cards on electronic devices. You can buy a card scanner that plugs into the headphone jack of phones or tablets. You will see Square being used at restaurants, smaller stores, and you could use it shopping online. Dorsey launched Square in 2010. Today twitter is still used very frequently. While it is still mostly used by teens, adults are starting to use it more and more every day. Most people use twitter to stay connected to the celebrity world.
