It Is Often Ok to Tell a Lie
It is often OK to tell a lie. All of us has ever told a lie. We often do it to avoid some true, that may hurt a person or to the benefit of ourselves. Many psychologists confirm the fact, that in normal life people usually say untruth. So lying is an everyday occurrence. In my opinion, it is possible to lie, if the reason for it is serious disease of relative people, family member. Dоctоrs cоntinuоusly face an еthical dilеmma, tеll thе wholе truth of the situation, which can be telling people their loved one may die, or leave out details to provide a glimmer of hope. In case they lie it is called "white lies". In some countries doctors do not tell the sex of the future child to their future parents. Because some families do not want the birth of girl. So not tell the whole truth, doctors avoid abortion or problems in family. As for parents, they also lies to their children to protect them from the danger of surrounding world. I think, parents cannot tell the truth about their children's nasty illness and that, few days left before they die.
People also lies, because they do not hurt another ones. It is always better to tell someone that they look nice even if they are not.
In conclusion, being honest is important, but never lying is almost impossible. It is normal to tell lies, to avoid many kinds of problems. White lies are an example of lies told with a good intention.

It is often not OK to tell a lie.
Most of our time we spend talking to our friends, family, other people. Communication is an integral part of our life. Talking to each other we share information, feelings and emotion. I believe, that communication should be sincere and honest. However, most people often tell a lie, that make the situation more difficult. There are many reasons why lying is wrong.
First of all, lying is bad, because it damage relationship between human beings. I think, we should trust and say truth to family members, friends and people we love and try not

Most of the time it is easier to tell a lie than it is to tell the truth and there is no way that we will ever completely eliminate lying from our society, because it does make our lives so much easier. Sometimes though lying can come with consequences, and it can backfire when someone discovers that you lied. Lying can cause a situation to become worse than it would have been if the truth had been told. Take James Frey for an example. He wrote an autobiography called A Million Little Pieces and the book was featured on Oprah and put on her book club list. After a while it was discovered that parts of his autobiography were not real and he was humiliated on a national level. If he had told the truth then his book could have still been published, but as a fictional story, and he could have still been a successful author and had a bestselling book. You should always be careful with the lies you tell and who you tell them to because there’s always a chance that someone will find out and then you would be in trouble.…

The dictionary defines a lie as, “a false statement made with deliberate intent to deceive; an intentional untruth; a falsehood.” However, while the intent of a lie is to deceive, that deceit is not always intended to cause detriment to others. Lies can be told for justifiable reasons such as to protect the feelings of others, but more often lies are told for the wrong reasons. For example, lies are mostly told to avoid the consequences of one’s actions such as with criminal activities and academic misconduct. When comparing acceptable and unacceptable reasons to lie, the unacceptable reasons greatly outnumber the acceptable.…

Lying destroys trust amongst people and results in lost prestige. When trust is lost, it is difficult to earn it back because we tend to assume that a person who has lied once will lie to us again. We then start to put our defences up against that person in order not to be deceived once again. Not only that, sometimes, we also tend to bear a grudge for long periods of time and it takes a while before the person who lied is forgiven, that is, if we ever choose to forgive and forget. The…

Lying only leads to more lying. If you lie once and someone calls you out on that lie then you have to create a bigger lie. You have to adapt to that lie and understand that the lie is the truth from then on. In some cases, it is better to speak the truth in a gentle way. Such as , if a woman were to ask you if she looks fat in a dress than find her a different dress and tell them that the new dress suits her better. However, In some cases its better to speak the truth in a cold hearted way. For example, if a grotesque girl likes you at school , you can tell her she is weird and that you don’t like her or want to be friends with her.…
