The people of different groups are having a harder time getting out of poverty. both children and adult are being affected by poverty. Is the American dream an impossible One, of course, it's impossible because the more and more people are in poverty according to research. According to “debt.org” there is 16.4 million children living in America and 22% of those children are living in a state of poverty. Its is stated by the “NCCP” that poverty can lead children to get affected in many ways either mentally off health wise. Also, according to the “NCES” when a young child is in poverty it can lead the child to have low motivation towards education and causing the-the child to do poorly in school. Think of all the side effects poverty has toward children and is it right for a child to be put through these challenges. It is also stated on one of these articles that poverty can lead the child to have mental issues such as a bad behavior or depression. We live in one richest nations in the world, but yet the people that populate this nation seems to suffer very greatly because of poverty. According to “kff.org the minority of America is the one that suffers the most because of poverty and the factors behind poverty as restated the low economy. It's also stated that if you're a minority you're more likely to live in a state of poverty because the benefits that they receive cannot be compared to the dominant people of America which leave the minority to wonder in poverty and fight the struggle. You may say Americans have the same rights, but one states no they don't all have the same right just look at the news and the way African Americans and Latinos are treated only because they are of a different ethnic group.
