Man inhabitant of the blue planet that filled with wonders and mysteries. Every single organism live in the earth has its own purpose and meaning. Every creature has designed uniquely by the Creator. Leslie Marmon Silko writes in Landscape, History, and the Pueblo Imagination, “The ancient Pueblo people called the earth the Mother Creator of all things in the world” (336). The Creator formed the universe out of nothing; He made the sun, the moon, the start, man and woman, animals, plants, and everything on the earth. Steven Bouma-Prediger writes in Is Christianity Responsible for the Ecological Crisis?, “God made a covenant not only with humans but also with our non-human neighbors- indeed, with every living creature that is with you, the birds, the cattle, and every beast of the earth with you, as many as come out of the ark.” (315). Christians believe God as the Creator and His creation; Christian should take responsible protect the environment and become a good steward. Vincent Rossi writes in Seeing the Forest for the Trees, “Within human responsibility for earth stewardship, the care of forests and tress possesses a special place in Biblical ecology” (322). God expects man to take stewardship for His creation. If man inhabitant in the environment, therefore, man has the responsibility maintain environment. Man might fail to be a steward or without recognizing the ecological crisis. Christians can be aware of keeping the environment through education, social media, churches, and family.
