Iphone Evaluation
I am a big fan of the Apple Industry, I really am. They have helped people over the years with their latest “creations” by making texting or taking pictures simpler. But what I do not understand is, why on earth would they make it so expensive? Everytime I watch a commercial about the new iPhone, I can not help but think how unfair it is to create a new piece of technology and for only a few people to be able to buy it. And I can not help but get even more confused when they overcharge the accessories as well. When you just received your new iPhone 7, that was already expensive enough, you really just do not want to spend anymore money. But, when you notice that one of the new features just happens to be that the phone does not come with a audio jax, you can not help but get kind of angry that you have to pay another $10 for headphones. It may not be a lot of money, but imagine what you could have used with those extra ten dollars. You could have spent it on a nice lunch at Chick-fil-a, and still have extra money left, but instead you used it on headphones that were made specifically for your new phone. …show more content…
I can see how they are convenient and useful. But are they really about to charge someone $160 for two pieces of headphones the size of your thumb? I mean not only are they overpriced, again, but now you have to keep them under protection 24/7 or you are about to have the worst day of your life. What on earth makes the creators think that it is okay to overprice these “pods” when I can run to Target and buy wireless headphones that cost $10? Plus, these are easier to keep track of, due to the wire connecting the two “pods”, and they are even in a variety of colors. It is common sense people. Save your money and go to Target. You will be glad you

Apple IPhone is considered apples most innovate and best selling product according to “the secret to Apple’s success” article they raised a point about Apple’s marketing strategy, “Making markets vs. addressing markets – Some claim that Apple doesn’t ask people what they need but gives them products they decide they want.” In a competitive industry such as the mobile device industry, no consumer would purchase a cellphone unless they perceive its worth as valuable. The EZTech team all met when they were in high school. When they graduated, they all had the similar interest in marketing. After high school the team met up and talked about common, everyday problems. The problem of headphones becoming tangled or lost seemed to be a recurring conversation. This lead the team to come up with the K.L.I.P. (which stands for Keep Loose Items Protected). The initial idea came after Sam, Founder of EZTech discussed how he ruined his third headphones, in addition to losing multiple IDs and credit cards. Then, the thought was to create something that could help keep loose items from being lost or destroyed, but as Casey Neistat, successful filmmaker and co-founder of Beme, once said, “Ideas are cheap. Ideas are easy. Ideas are common. Everybody has ideas. Ideas are highly, highly overvalued. Execution is all that matters” (Neistat).…

The first generation iPod was one of the first mobile devices that a consumer could carry around comfortably. Before this, the bulky, disc-shaped Sony Walkmen dominated the market, requiring the user to have to go out of his way to purchase a CD and needing to change the CD in the event that he wanted to listen to a different album. Like changing a lens on a DSLR camera, it was impractical and time consuming. Therefore, Steve Jobs created the iPod, a mini personal computer that could hold music on a small device that allowed the user to switch from song to song easily, reducing the weight of the music kit and the time needed to change the song. The iPod also paved the path for the future of all mobile downloading through the creation of iTunes, a service still widely used today. The first generation iPhone was, perhaps, the most revolutionary piece of technology of the 2000s, bringing to the table a microprocessor, a touch screen, an iPod, a camera, a television, a telephone, a web browser, and a calculator all in a singular package. Before this phone, other phones used a trackpad or a stylus as means of interacting with the device. Consequently, losing or breaking the tool resulted in a useless piece of technology, in addition it the bulk of having to carry around another pen only for a phone. Steve Jobs aimed to ameliorate the situation by using a…

In the article, “You Love Your iPhone. Literally.”, author Martin Lindstorm, suggests that people have the same love for their iPhones as they do for a significant other. In Lindstorm’s experiment, he exposed 16 participants between the ages of 18 and 25 to separately watch and listen to a ringing and vibrating phone. He would then watch to see what parts of their brains would activate. Lindstorm found that if a person saw a visual of an iPhone vibrating, not only would that person’s visual cortex activate, but their audio cortex would activate too. Then on the other hand if a person heard the audio of an iPhone ringing their audio cortex, along with their visual cortex, would activate. The last piece of data that Lindstorm collected was that…
