Abstract
This project is the investigative study of Business Activity Monitoring (BAM) System to explore what new features and functionalities should be added or upgraded to empower business managers‟ decision makings in modern challenging business world. There are several different definitions of BAM system in accordance with software vendor‟s white paper, research area or enterprises‟ needs. This project tries to find the best definition by discovering the history of BAM system. This project also attempt to investigate overview technical and architectural perspectives of BAM system to know how it can be employed in enterprise IT environment. Based on these understandings, the project fulfils its main objective of how BAM system should be upgraded to drive the success of enterprises business management in today business environment. This part is the convergence of knowledge that gathered through the study life of BIT academic year. To prove the research results, the project also endeavour to build the BAM system in practice for the Southern International Airline Office. This part of the project serves two objectives: to understand the BAM system in real-world as well as to successfully manage the system development project from its inception to the completion.
