Writer’s Checklist for Writing a Narrative: * 1.Is my title and introduction enticing? * My title and introduction is in my opinion enticing. * 2.Is my thesis effective? * I believe that my thesis statement is very effective. * 3.Have I included enough details so the reader can visualize my experience? * The details included in my essay should give the reader a clear view on my experience. * 4.Are the events presented in a logical sequence? * The events included in my essay are presented in a logical sequence. * 5.Have I used transitions to help the sequence of events flow smoothly? * I have used transitions to help t sequence of evens flow smoothly. * 6.Have I used dialogue (if appropriate)? * If dialogue was appropriate it has been used. * 7.Have I used a consistent point of view and verb tense? * In my essay I have used a consistent point of view and verb tense. * 8.Is the point of my narrative evident? * The point of my narrative is evident throughout the essay. * 9.Have I ended the story satisfactorily? * I believe and feel I have ended the story satisfactorily. * 10.Have I proofread thoroughly? * I have proofread thorough, and also had another proof reader read my narrative througly.

Military’s Impact On My Life

The moment that had the most impact in my life would be when I joined the United States Army. Before the day that I signed up I never in my life pictured that I would be where I am today because of the Military. The day that I left for basic training was the beginning of a whole new life. I joined the Army July 27th 2009, and at the time I was still under the age of eighteen. I had to have my parents consent, and they were in full support of my choice to enlist. This didn’t come to a big surprise to my parents, because my older brother was already enlisted, serving
