Introduction
An Internship period in any field of study is essential for any beginner in the field as it supplies the student with immense experience and helps him to apply the study of the books in an actual workplace environment.

Duration
My internship was in a luxury hotel called ‘Sofitel Abu Dhabi Corniche’ which extended over a period of six month starting from 15th July 2012 and ending on the 17th of January 2013. This internship period was spent entirely in the Human Resources department as well as a very short period of 4 days in the Engineering department.

Values & Objectives
Overall, this experience was a rich one for me as I got to know quite a lot of new things which I was never exposed to and especially HR, since this subject was not even taught to us at the college. This experience provided me a great practical exposure and gave me knowledge about the working environment. The internship also helped to boost my confidence level and have a professional approach with people of all fields

(Johannes Gutenberg-Universität Mainz , 2015). There are some benefits which students have after completing the internship. The internship gives a number of the positive things: firstly, it helps to be sure that the chosen work, the field of activity and the enterprise suit you. There’s no greater feeling then that feeling of clarity and understanding (Mohammed, 2016). Clarity in the vision of the future, on the potential career path and the understanding what is the most appropriate direction to go after the university. Unfortunately, discovery clarity is not a simple procedure. But internship can help youth to make it easier, it gives a student a chance to try specific businesses or specific segments/industries prior to coming to full-time employment—a motto "try before you buy" is a most suitable phrase in this case. Internship shows young talents how to work and how to behave in specific industries and companies. It demonstrates the environment of the working atmosphere, making a feeling that the student is a real employee now and the tasks, which he has, influence on the success of the…

Back in 2010 when I was still a student at Singapore Polytechnic, I was fortunate enough to be given the opportunity to serve my internship at the Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS). I must emphasize, that the 6 months spent was one of the most memorable life experience I have had. Personally it opened my eyes to what I’ll call the ‘real’ working environment, as the previous jobs I held were mainly serving as an assistant in retail (part-time). I termed it ‘real’ working experience because the internship also offers me the chance to work in Hong Kong. At the age of 18, the opportunities given were more than I could ask for and certainly the experience and lessons learnt had an impact on me until today.…
