Beauty is something that can be interpreted completely different from person to person. A famous quote that goes along with this perfectly is “beauty is in the eye of the beholder.” I think a person’s inner beauty should be taken into account when deciding whether or not a person is beautiful. Wikipedia’s definition of beauty is, “a characteristic of a person, animal, place, object, or idea that provides a perceptual experience of pleasure or satisfaction” while Oxford Dictionary states, “beauty is a combination of qualities, such as shape, color, or form, that pleases the aesthetic senses, especially sight.” As you can see, inner beauty could be paired with Wiki’s definition and outer beauty could be paired with Oxfords. Of course, there is no way of telling which definition is more correct, but, for the majority of today’s society, outer beauty seems to be the primary focus.…

"Being loyal-faithful or dedicated to someone or something-is not always easy. People often have conflicting loyalties, and there are no guidelines that help them decide to what or whom they should be loyal. Moreover, people are often loyal to something bad. Still, loyalty is one of the essential attributes a person must have and must demand of others." is a quote adapted from James Carville, Stickin’: The Case of Loyalty. Loyalty is usually thought to be an essential quality within friendship. The word loyalty can have different meanings to different people, but everyone has a basic idea of what it is. According to the book definition, it is the feeling of support, faithfulness, and allegiance. However, we are all well aware that loyalty means a lot more than that. To me, loyalty towards my friends is knowing in my heart that I will always stand by their side and that person knows in their heart that they have their absolute trust within me. Being loyal is to be by one's side through the good and bad. Loyalty can vary for different people, but it revolves around the foundation of trust and strong bonds.…

The quality of being loyal all depends on the people that may think of these terms. The reason for that is because he feels like she is only supposed to be attracted to him, but she feels differently because she feels that she hasn’t cheated on him. These are two couples with two different definitions pertaining to…

Beauty is a very indefinite concept, every person has a different idea of what they view as attractive. So when an entire civilization of people collectively define such a word; an automatic categorization of the physical appearances, personality traits, fashion sense, social class, and attitude of the people separates and divides them into what is acceptable and what is not. By doing this, we are taught to desire certain people that fit into these specific traits. But does that change the way we love? It creates a hesitation in the search for love, as well as a feeling of disobedience when going against the social expectations of how love should progress. But love can be experienced in different ways, and because of that, there are multiple…
