Do inhalers provide a performance advantage in competitive elite 200 meter track sprinters?
Methodology
The purpose of this study is to determine if performance is improved with the use of an inhaler before running the 200 meter dash. The independent variable is the use of an inhaler and the dependent variable is the performance time of each athlete.
Participants
Participants will be between 18-25 years in age who have participated in track and field for 4 years or more in the outdoor 200 meter race. The information will be obtained from the South Atlantic Conference in the United States. Each participating coach will receive a $25 Visa gift card to use toward team gear, etc. Example of the email and consent form that
