The Air Force made her a literal “poster child” in 1993, when it selected her to be prominently featured in its recruiting and promotional materials as the “model” Air Force nurse.[17] Serving for most of her career in Aeromedical Evacuation Squadrons, Major Witt was responsible for providing inflight care and treatment of ill and injured servicemembers during transport aboard military aircraft.[18] She served in Europe in the 1990’s, caring for ill and wounded in Bosnia, and in the Middle East, where she served on dozens of flight missions to rescue and treat soldiers fighting in Iraq.[19]…

As a manager, he/she needs to address problems as they arise. The one that stands out in this case appears to be a lack of communication. As per Greenberg (2013), the communication procedure starts when one group has a thought that it wishes to transmit to another either group may be an individual, a group, or a whole association (p. 238). General communication with workers is constantly necessary to an association's prosperity, yet it turns out to be particularly basic amid times of vulnerability. At the point when individuals are worried about professional stability and organization execution, reports on corporate news are key. By keeping representatives educated, managers can address uneasiness and guarantee specialists are centered on meeting business destinations.…

Furthermore, what initially interested me in the naval service was my family's involvement in the military. Ever since I was a child, I was inspired to become a military officer knowing my father was a non-commissioned officer in the Coast Guard and when my sister commissioned into the Navy as an officer becoming head of the physician and medical department on Naval bases. I was then driven to pursue a similar ambition to strive towards serving my country in the Navy as a lifelong career. My father works for the Air Force and growing up around planes; I generated interest for flight and the science behind it. I've had my career planned out ever since I was a Freshman in High School and I'm still very excited for when I graduate HIghschool. First step of the way, is definitely graduating high school, that will be my first accomplishment. I want to go to to Cuyamaca College first and get an Associates Degree in Criminal Justice. I'm going to to sign up for Cuyamaca this year so I can start taking a class or two during High School to get advanced. After I get my Associates Degree, I'm going to join the US Air Force Reserves. The reason why I'm going to college first is to go in as an E3 in the military and not an E1. One of many reasons why I want to join the Airforce is because I know all the benefits it has and all the open doors I can get to be successful in life, as well as extra money and experience for when I become a CSI. After I'm done with boot camp and my tech school, which will take around 4 months, I'm going to join Federal Police. I will be able to do that because I have a good record, I will have an Associates Degree in Criminal Justice, I will have MIlitary experience, and my mom is good friends with the chief of Federal Police. During the time that I will be in the Federal Police, I will slowly be working towards my Bachelors Degree and when finished, I will go into the CSI. I decided to pursue this career for me because It has a lot of benefits and have experience in many kinds of…

In relation, communication is the heart of what makes the United States Army what it is today. Without Communication vital information would not be passed down from the Chief of Command to a chain of Non Commissioned Officers to the soldiers. Not to mention, innocent lives would be in jeopardy, missions would be misconstrued, and simple information from NCO to soldier would be conflicted.…

Interpersonal communication has always been something I have taken very seriously. While I was in the Army, I served as a military policeman. Understanding and practicing good interpersonal communication made the job much easier in the end. Most of the time, the people with which I interacted simply wanted someone to listen to them and care about what they were saying. On the other side of things, knowing and recognizing certain nonverbal cues was very helpful with interviewing people and sorting out scenes and determine what actually occurred. If I can remember correctly, we spent just as much time studying nonverbal communication as we did training in other subjects such as marksmanship and using less-lethal equipment.…

I sit there in a small box-office. In shock with shaking hands, not fully realizing the choice I’m making. I stare at the man sitting in front of me, completely blocking out everything he says to me. I think to myself “Am I making the right choice? Will my family support me with my decision?” I admit I was scared, but in reality, this will change my life, and for the better. Joining the U.S. Air Force isn’t just signing papers and you’re done, it’s a long and stressful process of mental and physical strength. I still wonder if I’m fully prepared for this.…
