Infatuation In Shakespeare's Romeo And Juliet
While many die hard readers of this play might be tempted to classify Romeo & Juliet’s relationship as an example of true love, their relationship is actually an infatuation. Although some might argue Romeo and Juliet were in love because they made sacrifices. One piece of textual evidence is when on page 236 they could use when Romeo killed Tybalt and Juliet made a sacrifice of her cousin for their love.
