My group’s topic is about a family with 4 they go to Rome to have a trip. My part is geographical description of Rome and what is type of accommodation are available in this area.
The first time about our group’s meeting is at library, we help Xiao to find the price of flight ticket and train ticket and compare these two ways to go to Rome which is more economic for a family. The second time we meet at café, my group mate help me to find the information about the accommodation where are available in Rome. The third time we meet at library also, to gather our note together to check the information is enough or not. Then we go back home to make the PowerPoint. The fourth time, we meet at computer room to look our PowerPoint and revise it. This is the report of our meeting during the preparation of presentation.
Rome is the capital city of Italy and the country's largest and most populated city. The population of Rome is over 2.7 million. Rome is the Eternal City. With an almost uninterrupted history as an important centre of power for more than two millennia, Rome is as close to eternal as it gets. Rome is located in central-western portion of the Italian Peninsula, on the Tiber River within the Lazio region of Italy, a peninsula that sticks out into the Mediterranean Sea. The picture above is of Italy. It is easy to spot on the map because it looks just like a boot.
The Eternal City is one of Europe’s most ancient urban centers, dating back almost 3,000 years. Rome’s early inhabitants left behind a trove of architectural masterpieces, including the massive Colosseum. The Italian capital also boasts an unparalleled concentration of world-class art, from Michelangelo’s Sistine Chapel to the baroque Trevi Fountain, and teems with restaurants, trattorie, osterie, pizzerie, enoteche, cafés, bars, and gelaterie. It is home to the animated, good-humored Romans, who live to eat, drink wine (and espresso), and hold forth on everything from politics

Furthermore, to navigate through this nebulous and sparse historical account of Roman tradition, Saylor utilized archaeological evidence, Italy’s geography, the religiosity and culture of the Romans, family traditions, the written record, and early inscriptions to formulate his conclusions. Moreover, Saylor created a fictional account that was used in conjunction with the historical record. As a result of this combination of the historical record and his fictional narrative, Saylor was able to create a social history that focused on the common citizenry in addition to Roman mythology and traditional historical accounts, This confluence of fact and fiction was essential to not only create a plausible social history, but to refute the idea that Rome was in stasis, and the center of the world, according to many Roman historians. In addition, Roma was to serve as a candle in the dark to illuminate the lives of the Roman citizenry even though these individuals may not have existed. According to Saylor, Rome was constantly evolving politically, culturally, and religiously due to the multifarious cultures and milieu that surrounded Rome from its very conception as a city…

As the humanist scholar and literary historian Paolo Cortesi argued, “attractively designed and sumptuously executed” palaces served to bring “the ignorant mob” into submission to the Church’s authority and might. The fresco of Sixtus IV illustrates these aspirations. The room in which he and his retinue gather is richly appointed. Column capitals are trimmed in gold, the ceiling is coffered, marble covers almost every surface, and an elaborate Corinthian capital supporting a large, arched space in the background sits at the vanishing point of the painting’s carefully conceived perspective.…

Every hotel, big or small has its own significance. If you train at a large 5 star deluxe hotel you get a very good exposure at the same time you may not get to work in certain specialized areas. On the other hand a smaller hotel may not have too many specialized areas but you get to handle responsibilities, which is a big learning in itself. Industrial Release Training also gives you an opportunity to select the department that you are suitable for. Students can look for role models and know the profile desirable for the industry. You may face some difficult times as you are adjusting to the life of an “Employee” but don’t worry, you can address your concerns to the training manager and also can get in touch with the faculty coordinator if required. They will guide you. But never ever remain absent from work if you are not able to cope up. Speak to the personnel concerned about your difficulties and some solution will certainly come up. It is also important to complete the training from one organization only. Institute does not approve of students changing hotels for their training. In case such need arises due to some emergencies, approval from the institute must be taken.
