The Main Theme of the Event
From 31 October 2014- 1 November 2014, there is a The Guangzhou / Hong Kong / Macao / Chengdu Youth Skills Competition cum carnival which is a regional skills competition held biennially in Guangzhou, Hong Kong, Macao and Chengdu on a rotation basis. The Competition aims to provide a platform for young talents of the four cities to demonstrate their skills and exchange technical knowhow so as to enhance public awareness on vocational education and skills training.

The uniqueness of the Event
This uniqueness of this event is that the competition and the carnival is processing on the same time. The guests can see the exciting competition and try the same time. In this carnival has a series of Skills Connect DIY activities are specially designed for the public to discover skills for example DIY LED Circuit, Goal Painting, and Button Badge as well. It can increase the attractiveness of the event. Not only the DIY activities, but also the roundtable discussions and career advisory. It also provides useful information to let students to plan their studying and career path. Therefore, this event is a functional event that can attract more guests to come there.
Strengths of the Event
I had found 3 main strengths of this event. First, transportation. The location of is event was on Kai Tak Cruise Terminal, it is far to the town. However, the organizer provided the free return shuttle bus to the guests that they can directly go to Yau Tong or Kolwoon Tong. The convenient arrangement can let the guest to go and leave the carnival easier.

    Having a strong web presence is not only important in today’s world, it is vital for survival in today’s super connected world. Companies, banks, agencies and private industries must be able to create an environment to interact with customers, government officials and other companies in order to thrive.
