Even if the people have done something stupid it´s almost always the best to forgive. Remember that it is human to fail. Yes your right to be mad, but not forever. If you have done the fail you want the people to forgive you, so why don’t du the same´ yourself. This story is about a man who has been in prison for four years. He hopes that his wife is still there when he gets out, but he had send her a letter about that she can move on. And not be married to him anymore.
A group of friends where going for a vacation in Florida, they where from New York. On the bus they met a man. He seemed tired and never moved in his seat. When they stopped he did not go out to have a break. One of the girls in the group sat down with him after a while and talked to him. He told her that he had been in prison for four years. He said, “I told her that if she had a new man I would understand. But if she didn´t and if she wanted to take me back, she should let me know”. The way she should let him know was by hanging a yellow handkerchief in the big tree at the beginning of the town they used to live in.
There are different points of view in this situation. She could say no because she did not want to talk to him again after what he has done. She could have got a new man. Or she could have to just take him back. The decision she would take is out form what happened earlier in the relationship and how things changed. You know that he really loved her when this happened in the bus. “Vingo stopped looking tightening his face as if expecting another disappointment. Then it was ten miles, then five. Vingo was trembling.” Out from the text you understand that he has bad confidence about what happened. He tells his wife that she can move on, because he has done some really big mistakes and she deserves better. She could just drop him and start a new life. But she keeps waiting for him and gives him a second chance. He had a huge remorse to his wife. He really hoped that he would see his wife again and make up for all the years in
