A lot of benefits can be obtained in playing sports. Any form of exercise can improve health and fitness, but organized sports can not only preserve health but can also boost social skills, enhance teamwork, build better personality, and sometimes even obtain formal recognitions.
Teamwork is not learned overnight. It is made of hard work, cooperation, dedication, and love of each member of a team or group. Camaraderie is one of the vital components in an athletic success along with conditioning and the fundamentals. But among the three, "working together as a team" often proves to be the most elusive goal. In sports, it is not that hard to build camaraderie. You learn to play the game, and to cooperate with others.
